My wife and I are staying in Avelengo this December. We look forward to checking out the Bolzano Christmas Market. It looks fantastic, but also very packed lol. Did you or do you know anyone that went to the Christmas Market in Meran?
It looks like Austria - because technically there is Austria - South Tirol. Therefore everything is written in German. Austria had to give away this region to Italy after WW 1. It is now in the territory of Italy and under protection of Austria. They have the most flourishing economy and have a lot of benefits given by the Italien government by law. They have managed to survive and made a huge success. Today it doesn’t hurts so much anymore to the Austrians to get rid of this part of Tyrol because of the EU and it seems they get quite well along with the Italians.
Christmas Markets are always so much fun even though it can get a bit chaotic. Are you a fan of the market?
Worth it? I'll say, and then some! Everything looks wonderful. Amazing.
Those Christmas ornaments looked amazing!
Right? Most of them are handmade by the people selling them. We picked out a few wooden ones.
that's definitely an experience! i'd love to try that speck and cheese panini
That was the best speck we’ve had. I can see how that region is famous for it! Plus that cheese, great combo!
good content!
Glad you enjoyed it
