Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, D.C., and Washington state also provide full coverage to some people living in the U.S. without authorization. New York and Washington state are expanding eligibility next year.
Over a billion spent and 2m more spent. No wonder top 15% earners are leaving the state

I have a new found respect for Governor Healey for calling out these ‘for profit hospital operators’ and playing hardball. I’ve said for years that the Hospitals are twice as bad as the Insurance companies. Maybe it’s time to have the Nurses and CNAs run these hospitals for a change.

Appreciate her effort but would like to see evidence that ALL the currently closed hospitals had the same issue of greedy operators versus something else

Agree, if the current operators messed up why are they not facing lawsuits and fines?

She should not have made this deal when the Carney employees, who were the Covid hospitals dedicated staff, are not going to get their own earned time! Everyone knew this was the goal when the Attorney General Maura Healey made the deal with the notorious Del Torre
