Nice advert.
How romantic a 1940s theme. I must admit I've never seen this one but a really beautiful martini ad.
Those old Martini adverts had a lovely romantic, atmospheric feeling about them. Pity the stupid Rossiter/Collins so called humourous commercial spoilt it
The adverts with Collins and Rossiter were for Cinzano!
The actress with the black veiled-pillbox hat looks someone known... Was she famous back then? Maybe only Europe?
No, they didn't use any famous actors in this campaign!
Exactly what I thought too!
She looks similar to Bianca Jagger did then.
Steam trains!!!!! This was directed by Tony Scott and was shown 1979/80 and won an award. Do you know where it was filmed?
On the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway in Yorkshire

who sings this pls?
The music was composed by Christopher Gunning but no one can remember who the session singer was.
Thanks for that but she does have lovely voice...
I'm a bit late to the party but, I reckon it's Madelin Bell from Blue Mink. She did loads of ad music in the '70s and '80s; "Wonderfuel Gas" etc.
