what the hell has texas done to be ranked 6? they have played NOBODY all year, and when they did finally play someone, they got destroyed at home. the fact that theres undefeated and one loss teams behind them with better wins and better losses is insane. when the most redeeming quality of your resume is a 3 point win over a 3 loss team, you should NOT be ranked near the top 5
There is no way Penn State is beating Indiana. Ohio St will lose to Indiana. you heard it here first. lol, this is coming from an oregon fan. they are scary and coached very hard and old school.
Yeah, but they haven't played anybody Ohio State lost the Oregon by one point are you telling me Indiana will beat Oregon too? If that's the case, let's go ahead and put Indiana number one 😂
Indiana has the 103rd SOS. The only team in top 25 with a 3rd digit in said category. They're only ranked because they haven't played anyone yet. Wait for it.....
I'm curious to see how this plays out if Miami loses and games, does Boise State move up to be in the top 4 conference champions? Only one loss to the lead team, not bad!
Pump the brakes man, Not of football left and the secondary looks big suspect. Offense can get after it but defense might break before the National championship
As a Miami fan I wanna say yes but the alabama/Texas draw could be a rlly tough one. Either one would be shootouts cause we can’t stop a nosebleed, but we have the best qb in the country.
Notre Dame is not top 10. Divisions and independents have lost their clout. Join the ACC and rotate preseason matches with USC, etc. The game is changing.
Obviously happy WERE #1 but this continues to be a joke. Texas at 5?! Why!? Their best win is FKING VANDY. I respect Vandy this year but Texas has beat up on nobodies and when they played Georgia, Texas was a nobody. Comical. BYU at 9 hahahahaha. No losses, TWO better wins than Texas. SMU + K-State. Once again, there's no *consistency* to the rankings. Teams appear to be judged on different metrics. Miami and BYU are both undefeated. One team beat SMU and Kansas State. The others best win is...Duke? Oh sorry I forgot BYUs name is BYU and Miami is Miami.
I doubt it, the refs are on Ohio States side. I'm so surprised that more people can't see it. The league wants them winning. Feel sorry for teams facing them.
@@dlallen5036 u obviously don’t watch the games. I don’t have a dog in this fight but Ohio State is most definitely protected by the officiating crews.
Wtf is the eye test? If it margin then why isnt Indiana #1 (they have the highest mov in the nation)? If its resume, then why isnt BYU higher than oh idk how about Penn State, who BYU has 2 more ranked wins then by this very ranking?
Because the SEC is just a harder conference my dude. When they lose to good teams it’s still better than these other conferences bullying the 95% mediocre teams they have. Oregon is about the only team I see that could make it in the SEC
@@Rolltide404only two teams from the sec been winning and before that it was mostly just bama lmao and clearly last year showed that sec dominance is coming to a end. if osu or oregon wins the natty that would be two years in a row with a big 10 winner just saying 🤷♂️
Look up number of SEC Championship lastv40 years compared to the little ten . Tell me where the bias is. If the didn't force wishigan and the state university of Ohio , you would be the MAC .
The SEC is just deep and has gotten deeper and that’s considering Oklahoma hasn’t been Oklahoma this year. They’ve had a horrible injury ridden year which for them is an anomaly. I have no doubt they right the ship and will be in the running next year for a spot in the CFP as well because they’re still recruiting like Oklahoma normally does on the recruiting trail.
The teams are ranked first. Then conf champs are seeded. How hard is this to understand? Also, the "eye test" is code for "more SEC and Big 10" nothing more.

@@dreshongovan4652 hmm, same Boise State who whooped up on the Oklahoma 's, Oregon, and Georgia over the years. #1 Oregon barely escaped this year. I like this playoff format.

Miami fan here 🟧🙌🏼🟩. Look bias aside. I think it’s annoying and a travesty that the committee year in and year out continue to award and rank One and 2 loss teams over other 1 loss and undefeated teams just bc they play better teams and have quote “better losses.” I understand SOS, etc but these teams can’t control who they play. I know we haven’t looked great in our wins and that other teams haven’t truly been tested and played better competition compared to other teams. But you have to ask yourself, when is winning and going undefeated going to get rewarded? If you win you get in. It’s about winning. If you go undefeated, you should be in the playoff over a 1 loss team that lost in most circumstances. That’s what the game is about. One loss and two loss teams shouldn’t be getting rewarded for better losses and harder games over undefeated programs that did their job every week. I understand, but I feel as if Miami should be # 2, Indiana & Tennessee should be ranked over Penn State. SMU & Army are getting absolutely disrespected. How can you put a 3 loss team over an undefeated program, and they actually moved back in the rankings. However you see it, still a lot of ball to be played and things will get interesting!!

If Penn State hosted a playoff game vs Notre Dame then Fox will pick it up at put it at noon.
#5 will by far have the easiest route to the semifinals
#2 will have a decent path too
Unless Boise moves up
Correct but eventually playing the #1 team isn’t worth it
Not bad, but byu behind indiana shows sos and ranked wins dont matter as much as conference affiliation though…
