Absolutely STUNNING!!! I have watched MANY diy fireplace garland videos and this is by far my favorite! I love the " old fashioned " ornaments, it takes me back to seeing my grand parents trees,when I was tiny and the touch of I guess *comfort" in the over all reminds me of my Mom! Both of my Parents are no longer here, I was quite young when my Dad passed, and my Mom very recent. I think that's why I'm hanging on to every little thing that has meaning, warmth and the whimsical feeling I can find, to share w my babies who are 8 and 1! You bring the beauty combined with fun and stepping back into those most precious moments of life, all together with laughter, dun, beauty and magic and I LOVE IT! My Grandmother always used the "pieces" of pine in like you did, oh my heart!!! It's elegant and soft, it has a walk into Christmas when it was magical feeling, and for that I'm thankful! I WILL be doing this on my fireplace this year!!! Thank you for sharing your ideas and talents, for bringing a touch of home mixed with beauty!! You ARE truly the best!!! My only 'complaint' is not having more videos to watch! 😊 Again, thank you for taking something special and making it into something that isn't just beautiful, but has touched my heart!!! I love the Santa, I do a all Santa tree for my kiddos, and that one is beautiful, last I LOVE the mint green ornaments. They don't get lost in the free of the project! Thank you again my friend for helping someone who has been struggling this year with not having family, and wanting to put a touch of them in the holiday ... You nailed it! Thank you my friend!! ( Ok REAL last, I love the uneven streamers in the bows. Much more than the even uniform look!! They are beautiful!)
Hi Steph, I'm very glad you enjoyed the video! I too love Christmas because of fun family memories. Decorations alone are fun - but they become even more special when they give our hearts glimpses of fond memories of the past. Many decorations in my home I enjoy looking at because of the memories that are attached to them. I'm sorry to hear about your loss - it is never easy to lose those we love. I'm glad you are still in the holiday spirit - just think of all the warm Christmas memories you are making for your kids to cherish! :) -Christopher
So beautiful. Your talking really added so much to this as to how you do things, especially how you make your bows. Your way is so much easier than all of that twisting and turning and having to have all different lengths. That is a nightmare that I have never been able to master. You have just simiplified my life immensely!

I love all of your videos. I did enjoy this one the most because it was filmed closer and more instructional. The ornaments were put on rather fast. I would have loved to hear of your placement of them and why you add so many, colors, etc. beautiful!!
