Regarding Albania, it is not included in the video simply because it is not among the top 10 European nations with the greatest influence of organized crime WITHIN ITS BORDERS. In fact, the "Albanian mafia" operates primarily outside of Albania's borders. Just consider that, even though the Albanian mafia has good control of some drugs in Europe, drug use in Albania is relatively low (at least compared to other European nations). Regarding Kosovo, what you say is true. However, the Global Organized Crime Index (which, as we mentioned in the video, is supported by the European Union and the United States government), does not list Kosovo among the 193 nations it has ranked. We do not know the reason for this, but it could be because there are several countries that still do not recognize it (although, as you rightly said, it has been recognized as independent by about 120 nations). Out of the game. Their prime time was heroin smuggling but last few decades it is about synthetic drugs and cocaine. They still have parts of human trafficking but can't follow up. Now they mostly have to collaborate with Italian, Montenegro and Serbs in all areas to remain in the job. Serbs and Montenegro especially grow. They are main players for weapons, weed, synthetics, cocaine and high level thievery. Pink Panther is famous Serbian organization that works world wide... For Albanians there is less and less space.
