0:38 This story really pulls you in right from the start! Poor Maria, trying so hard for her family only to face constant criticism. Can’t wait to see how she finds her strength!
This was a really great story. . Marie did right by Not leaving children with their Dad. His mistress really didn’t care for them. She was just there because of the affair. I figured that out early. He really did Marie bad by the way he talked about her calling her ugly names especially when the doctors told him what she was going through. I really loved it when she finally found out about his affair and that she found those jewels which were meant for her to find so she could get away from him and care for her children and she could have peace of mind. Everything started to happen for her because she was faithful to him and did all she could to make him happy. She won in the end.
Here's the thing with the weight issue. The way she couldn't lose weight and piled on the pounds, even though she isn't eating much, suggests a problem with the thyroid gland. Why didnd't the doctors investigate that? Anyhow, I enjoyed this story and it was great that Maria managed to turn her life around. Why should she feel guilty about the jewels? Finders, keepers when encouraged to do so from an old translation. I wanted something bad to happen to Nicholas, but it didn't happen.
I have one thing to say it as Elvis Presley sang it best❤ Walk a mile in my shoes. Walk a mile in my shoes and before you abuse criticize ... Walk a mile in my shoes🎉🎉🎉
Great story but I would have like to know if her ex husband get to know of her success and her marriage. It would have been a treat to see his reaction
Maria should just leave the kids with her husband, which is their own father. Just pack herself a light suitcase and go a mini vacation, just so her husband is able to see just how hard it is to a married single parent in the home. with know help, with a complaining husband.I don't have any kinds and I know rasing kids a alone, with house work, and the kids home work, and trying to please an ungrateful, and unappreciative husband that is a job by it self.
Very interesting story but the reader and the written words didn't tally most times! Names changed, no capital letters and punctuation marks in approximate places! That reduces the quality of a book. Very happy ending.
A beautiful story, I Loved it. Author and narrator were also very good. Thank you for sharing ❤.
Terrific story thank you.😊

It is a good story. However, i would have liked to hear more about the ex husband, his nanny mistress and the ex in laws.

He'd just get Viola to take care of everything. Men like him won't put themselves out for anyone.
Not too many moms would leave their kids with someone who wouldn’t care for them fully
Twins a Boy and a Girl , One named Eve and the other one named Sophie ?? Which one is the Boy??
You only do so much with three little kids
