Retired members of the Screen Actors Guild. I was a young idiot and didn't know any movie people from those decades. However, in room after room I saw frail old people with Oscars, Emmie's and lots of other awards. I am now 70 , still don't know those people were, but I would bet they would have loved it if I had stopped by just to chat for a while. Most old people in nursing home are desperate for someone to talk to. Missed opportunity.

Any other time a host would have never come back hosting like that but each time he presented the numbers went up.

I used to go to garage sales and if the had stuffed animals I would as if any left I could have to give to old people in nursing homes. Almost without fail they were happy to do that. After a couple of weeks I would have at least 100. I just threw them in the washing machine then set them out to dry. To finish it off I would throw them in the dryer to heat them and fluff up the material. Then explain my project to nursing homes, then pass them out to old people They loved them, you would have thought I was giving them a real puppy. One wheelchair bound lady, danced the stuffed animal in her lap for at least a half hour. My health doesn't allow me to do that anymore, I hope someone else will continue for me.
