One of my favorite concerts. The Rat Pack days. He just formed Reprise Records where the artist owned the music. Opened Cal-Neva and helped get JFK elected…Prime Frank….Great post..
Sinatra List: 0: 00 Ive Got A World On A String 2:25 Your Nobody Till Somebody Care 5:40 Come Fly With Me 8:10 think of you, imagination is crazy 10:40 Foggy Day 12:49 Ive never knew the spring 15:00 we are a romance to continue
It's the arrangements by Billy May, Nelson Riddle, and Johnny Mandel. Those guys knew how to surround Sinatra with an orchestration that allowed him to soar !!!
Que impresionante orquesta su sonido en esos bellos tiempos junto con su potente voz de frank sinatra❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Espectacular concierto sin palabras. Se agradece el video Octubre 13 del 2024.❤❤❤❤
This is Sinatra at his PEAK.And nobody till this day has come close. He is in command and nobody l mean nobody could top him today 2024.How he is missed.
@@moonlightlove27 Yes certainly Elvis was a great singer and performer and the 'King' of Rock n Roll. But in terms of the Great American Songbook with jazz standards and influences etc. and in terms of longevity Sinatra shades it for me.
My Bigger than life Daddy, my Father, Dean Jordan. My Hero, the Brightest🌟in my sky and my love for him is eternal. Having scripted all the above, I get great pleasure borrowing the title of Franks 🎵 all time hit " I did it my way❤" and most certainly, Daddy did it his way! and the world loved him!😍
Terriffic! Thanks so much. There's a legendary rendition of "Three Coins" where Frank does an amazing reprise of the final chorus- I've heard it a couple of times (used to have it on cassette off the radio)- would this have been the concert it was from. His voice HAS no bottom here. (Just checked- not on this night. Any idea what I'm talking about?)
I know ! It drives me crazy !! Mr. Dean had his unique style, was charming and all...However Frank was in another Ligue...Variety of catalogue, voice range, quality of recordings, quality of VOICE, life span of his music recording history, legacy, humor , humanity...the list goes on ... 🙄

he was vocal perfection. no AutoTune. just polished talent
Hé is the most jazziest singer for sure!😊😮
The best Jazz singer of all time. He swings Great American Song Book effortlessly.
Every artist has that period when they are at their peak and this was Sinatra's.Truly magnificent.Along with his Songs for Swinging Lovers album.

8:10 think of you, imagination is crazy
10:40 Foggy Day
12:49 Ive never knew the spring
15:00 we are a romance to continue
You've got the names of the songs wrong, my friend.
For ex. "I've never knew the spring" is really "April in Paris"

WOW! FRANK!! Thanks a ton for posting this concert. THE MASTER.
…..That Band! Those Swingin’ Charts! That Sax Section!! BRAVO!
It's just magic, just magic. And what's more magic is that it's on youtube for future generations like myself to enjoy ol blue eyes.

He was the greatest popular singer of the 20th century. I'm 68 so I've heard quite a few! My dad loved him too.
I agree. My late dad always said Frank was the best singer he'd ever heard.
The greatest popular singer of the 20th century = ELVIS.

" double barrel pleasures !" ( got you on a string " with mafia cronies !" 😮
As a huge Sinatra fan, I really appreciate this upload. By why is each song cut off at the end? Is it for copyright reasons?

Australia and Sydney- marvelluous Sydnye- were never the play ground for Frank
Very romantic double barreled little medley, sweetheart. ❤
I doubled up on The Moon Was Yellow because iMovie is a pice of crap app. I'll fix it soon...one of these days.
