Blitzo sees Stolas as some higher invincible being that can't be touched. The whole humorous subplot in Sloth showed how little worries Blitzo had for Stolas' safety. It's not that he doesn't care. He just didn't consider that Stolas could actually be harmed. Think about it. He saw first thing how Stolas went apeshit over those those agents in season one. It gave him a good impression that Stolas can take care of himself. The Ars Goetia are powerful immortal demons. Only few things can harm them. Plus, kidnapping and assassination attempts are probably a common thing for Stolas. He's a prince after all. He's also known for playing damsel in distress to get Blitzo as his 'knight in shining armor'. Angelic weapons AREN'T common however. Only when it became apparent Striker was a true threat and posessed weapons that can kill even demon royalty did Stolas realize he was in danger. Lastly, we also know Blitzo can be very selfish and often takes Stolas' attention and affection for granted. Him realizing Stolas can actually get hurt and be in pain is a major turning point. He'll never view Stolas the same way again. Another person in his life he could lose. And knowing Blitzo's lack of selfworth and self-destructive actions he's beating himself up over what happened. That's probably the reason he backed out on texting Stolas back. Truly the worst thing you can do of course! Because it's crushing Stolas, whose hope for any sort of relationship with Blitzo is now slowly dying. Not a good thing for our very depressed owl man whose whole world revolves around two things in his life, Octavia and Blitzo.
Blitzø probably never seen an angelic weapon and when he saw one he didn't know this was angelic because from I.M.P only Moxxie studied those things. And also Blitzø just knew about angelic weapons being able to like make a scratch on stolas when in reality it can kill him.
FUN FACT: In this episode Striker is voiced by Edward Bosco. Edward voiced a lot of characters in this franchise, including Millie's dad from episode 5, the bouncer from episode 7, the hound from the unreleased episode 8, a background character in episode 3, and most notably Alastor from the Hazbin Hotel pilot.

Norman Reedus was too busy. They got Edward Bosco. Stolas put on a tough guy act with that kinky talk to show Striker he wasn't afraid, even though he IS. It's not that Blitz0 doesn't WANT to see Stolas. He does. He just doesn't want to be faced with his failure to protect him.
In an authoritarian structure like the hierarchy of hell, the ones at the top arnt exactly letting the common folk know their weaknesses. Cant be letting them overturn the existing order, after all. Angelic weapons are well enough known that a nerd like Moxxie knows about them, but Blitz0 tends to tune him out, and he was always more upset at Striker's apparent betrayal of his business, than his decide to go after "the man." Besides, he kicks Stolas in the balls every month, stabs him with sharper and longer knives, ect. But it's all just a Goetia playing with his toys. Blitz knows who's really in charge.

I think Blitzo is finally realising not just the fact Stolas can get hurt - physically And morally- but his true feelings. We saw him rage when he heard Striker on the phone. And leaving Stolas hanging was horrible, but he probably doesn't know what to say. Might feel guilty for not going himself, for not caring until now. He's digesting the fact that Stolas isn't the untouchable, almighty being he took for granted. Stolas won't blame Blitzo for not going to the rescue, he's a dad and would have put Via first, too. But not going to visit at thr hospital? Ouch...Blitzo better drop by, even though he didn't answer.
I don't think there are weapons that could kill Lucifer. If i remember correctly, the crew once stated that lucifer, as a fallen angel, can only be smited by an higher ranking Angel to begin with. And sind Lucifer was there from the very beginning, there isn't much above him
Common knowledge in the demon realm especially in hell is that the demons are impervious to pain or getting hurt it's something more of a sadistic mind of theirs where it's they play getting hurt or faking it but it is not common knowledge that imps would know that demons can get hurt due to the idea of possibly an imp uprising

I've been wondering about that too, and I think maybe for Blitzo there was a difference between "kill" and "hurt". I can have a favorite cool-looking giant monster in an action movie and want it to survive and worry about whether the puny humans will kill it with their missile strike or if it died when a building fell on it just now. But if I see the monster crawl out of the wreckage, bleeding and in pain and scared, and get dragged off by the humans, suddenly this is a different kind of movie and I'm much more worried than when I thought it would die. Now it's just like me, and it hurts like me. If that makes sense.
