The frame pacing issue I mentioned at 8:52 isn’t caused by the game becoming more CPU-limited. The real culprit is the driver. Watch this video for more details and how to fix it : ruclips.net/video/ZuGc2qvw0p8/видео.html

Which lodscale value do you recommend and how do you know if the command went through and is it needed to be done every time I play the game from a new launch? Do I need r_antialiasing if I'm using DLSS?
How are you getting the RT specific options? I do not have these on my PC. RTX4070 (8GB) and 32 GB RAM with Intel Core9 CPU. I can do RT in almost any game, so I should have these options here.
Thankyou for your video . playing on a 7800x3d and 4090FE and getting around 120fps @ 1440p right now , looking forward to when the game is fully optimised. Seems pc games released these days are never ready 'out of the box' and require lots of fiddling to make them as playable as they should be
I play on 3070, I've already reached the Himalayas, 1440, dlss quality, medium textures, the rest is incredible, it flies, I don't know what everyone is shouting about, you just need to know how to set it up, textures load the same on high and medium, I didn't notice any difference in their quality
I'm not traditionally a PC gamer, but I really wanted to play this game and this video is a lifesaver, I can't wait to boot up the game next and apply these settings! One question as a complete rookie though - the resolution is not mentioned among these optimization settings, how does changing the resolution affect the performance? I usually hook up the laptop to my 4K TV, so I've selected a 4K resolution in the settings, but does that considerably impact the overall performance? Should I opt for a lower resolution and use upscaling instead? Again, I'm a complete rookie when it comes to these optimization settings on PC, I'm generally a console gamer. Thanks a lot for this useful information!
Yeah it impacts the performance by an extreme amount. Im not sure what would be best in your situation, maybe someone else here will have advice for you.
@TeenPerspektiva thanks for your comment! I've actually played around with the resolution a bit and noticed a sensitive increase in performance when not using 4K resolution. I'm currently set on a 2K res with upscaling active and, with all the settings indicated in this video, the game runs smoothly with very rare hiccups, so I'm really pleased!
@TeenPerspektiva it's my company's Razer Blade from 2021 with an RTX 3080. As I said, not an expert on gaming PCs, but I think it was a medium/high spec hardware when it was released, while it now still holds up but only to medium settings overall. So yeah, I'm extremely grateful for the work this channel does as it honestly saved me a LOT of pain and time trying to figure out the best way to run this game on my hardware!
Do you have RT settings displayed on the 3060ti? Because I don't have those settings, although the author clearly shows the impact of RT settings on performance on the 3060 ti in the video. How did he do that?
Hey I don't seem to have any of that Ray Tracing menu stuff. Also is there an exclusive fullscreen mode? I can't seem to find these setting. (PC game pass) (RTX 3080 + 32gb ddr4 + i7-7700k + 1440p)
Thanks for this. I will try and enable path tracing on my RTX 4070Ti. We will see if I can hit about 60fps before I enable frame generation. The problem is that frame generation alone takes approx. 1GB of VRAM and my card 'only' has 12GB. Can't believe this is now the absolute minimum for a GPU. I'm still on the fence if I should keep investing money in new hardware or just stay put and catch up on my backlog. I have enough powerful hardware to run everything on my backlog with maxed out settings. This push for RT is another gimmick to create FOMO and force people to upgrade in my opinion.

Which lodscale value do you recommend and how do you know if the command went through and is it needed to be done every time I play the game from a new launch? Do I need r_antialiasing if I'm using DLSS?
I didnt know Werner Herzog did YT videos like these!
How are you getting the RT specific options? I do not have these on my PC. RTX4070 (8GB) and 32 GB RAM with Intel Core9 CPU. I can do RT in almost any game, so I should have these options here.
Would you do Marvel Rivals?
The legend is back🔥🔥
Thankyou for your video . playing on a 7800x3d and 4090FE and getting around 120fps @ 1440p right now , looking forward to when the game is fully optimised. Seems pc games released these days are never ready 'out of the box' and require lots of fiddling to make them as playable as they should be
It's only in this video that I learned it was on Id Tech... now I need a crossover between Indiana Jones & Wolfenstein
Amazing job as always
Amazing guide tysm!!
@matteo5869 nice man, glad for ya. Must be some heck of a gaming laptop if you can pull that off on it tho 😄
@matteo5869 nice
Do you have RT settings displayed on the 3060ti? Because I don't have those settings, although the author clearly shows the impact of RT settings on performance on the 3060 ti in the video. How did he do that?
Are you not gonna make one on rdr 1 pc?
thanks for the info, seems pretty useful! would appreciate a marvel rivals one too hehe, but great work keep it up🙌🏻
Thank you for your help !
Although I love Alex’s DF optimized settings videos, I think that these are a bit more detailed.
Since it doesn't exist, can i ask you a examination like yours on the first kingdom come deliverance ? I think it will be interesting
Hey I don't seem to have any of that Ray Tracing menu stuff. Also is there an exclusive fullscreen mode? I can't seem to find these setting. (PC game pass) (RTX 3080 + 32gb ddr4 + i7-7700k + 1440p)
Hi brother, do you have plans on making optimization for games like Marvel Rivals and other fps game?
Complete backlog brother get ur money's worth before investing in new hardware
