      No one on the team liked tortotella. He didn’t even attend Boogarrds funeral. Torts is a scumbag.

      lol if torts let Avery do what he wanted they would have been more successful. Avery could always play hockey at a high level,and make other teams take penalties. Torts just hadn't coached a player like him before. He didn't use him to his full potential. Hes like a Marchand or Tkachuk. And Torts wouldn't let him build the teams energy up that way. Must be the American in Torts🤣

      Mike Kennedy I like Avery and Torts. I think the only reason why their relationship fell apart is because Torts didn’t have that 50+ goal scorer or that 90+ point getter.

      Because nobody buys books anymore its all online, so its just another sign your book store biz is on the way out for staying with a 90s style front. LoL

    • @WhereMyChicken
      @WhereMyChicken 6 лет назад

      Then who in their right mind would buy a full price book online ever when they can get it 80% off after the first week? LOL.

      That's likely because those who "like" him are unable to read.

    Scotty Bowman had much easier teams to work with. It would be pretty hard not to win all those cups with the Canadiens/Penguins/Red Wings line up back then...

    Lmao so much to say about torts style... because Avery’s style is so clean and respectful right? What a joke

    • @harrybalszak7526
      @harrybalszak7526 5 лет назад +1

      So you are saying just because Avery might not have been sophisticated and put together, he can’t hold that standard to a guy whose job is to be a respected leader?

    Sean Avery is intelligent. And yes he´s an asshole but he has some good points. That thing he´s saying about good coaches in spot on. Funny how it is exactly the opposite to mike babcock.

  • @luisdejesus1218
    @luisdejesus1218 6 лет назад +3

    He does make a point about Tortorella vs Bowman. Scotty did whatever it took for the vision to win the cup whilist John was a micro manager. Aaaand look at that track record between them.

    • @brucevrodoor4781
      @brucevrodoor4781 5 лет назад

      Michel Brulét Torts won a cup and a few jack Adams awards and did it with not as good teams. He can be a jerk but he knows what he’s talking about. You don’t have to be a genius to point out Bowman has had more success but torts will be remembered as a good hockey coach and Avery will not be remembered as a good hockey player.
