My kids are out of nappies already, I gifted my stash to one of my relatives that has a newborn bow. I used to have a variety of nappies. I had: Petite Lulu AI2, Bumgenius pocket, Grovia AIO that with side snaps, ImseVimse AIO, Alva pocket, Close PopIn AI2, Popolini fitted, Charlie Banana pocket, Apple Cheeks pocket, TotsBots AIo and fitted. And I also had a bunch of covers and flats. I also loved to use wool with fitteds.
I have a mix of different things but I’m always changing and struggling to catch up with my daughter who is at the top of the centile range in height and weight at nearly 6 months. Currently I have; wizard unos, blueberry simplex , I have a few Bambino Mios and have just discovered Bubblebubs candies which I like because they fit well despite seeming small. Very gentle leg elastics and good containment. I am finding blueberry simplex harder to fit on my daughter in width so I do hope that she slims out when she starts walking. Your Ma Botts nappy is beautiful by the way.
It's tough when they're big! My little boy was a big baby and I was always struggling with the smaller nappies! Now I have three opposite problem, Margot is tiny!! 😂 Though to be honest the stash is still always changing.. quite a few more nappies have joined us even since this video... 😂😂
Mine is so varied. I have AIOs AI2s pockets flats and fitteds. But brand wise I think my bellsbumz are my favourite followed closely by my seedling pockets. 🤍
Is there a nappy type that is good for all time use? LIke I heard Nighttime nappies are different and I don't want to deal with buying different types and just wanna buy a bulk of one set of nappies to use.
Hiya! I noticed in your most recent videos on cloth nappies, you really more about flat ones with inserts, have you moved toward that style or still favour all in 2s? Finding your advice very helpful!
Yes I have been using more flat nappies recently, but still with all-in-two nappies, I just switch out the inserts they come with for prefolds or muslins. It's one of the things I like about an all in two over an all in one. Hope that helps! 😊
Hello, if you are interested in all in twos that leave no red mark Petite Lulu are the ones. I used them with my kid, they are very absorbent and are really gentle to their legs. Close Pop in I also liked but though they are birth to potty they run small and my son outgrew them quickly.
Would love a newborn cloth video! Currently pregnant with my second baby. My first baby was in cloth from 3/4 months but this time I am going to try from birth!
I thought exactly the same as you when I saw the inside of LLB and also had found Bumgenius Elementals not the easiest to prep so I can see what you mean.
Yes I really wanted to love them but just couldn't get on with the flappy inner! I've actually been trying the quick dry recently and I strangely prefer it. It's similar but a bit easier thanks to just having the one layer of absorbency
@@aboderie I'm also very much in an Ai2 mood at the moment. I finally collected the Grovias I've wanted for years and in the winter we invested in the Elemental Joy system.- which I got on offer and have quite enjoyed. We use both types of inserts. They lay in instead of snap. It's quite good for an "economy" line.
Oh it's lovely, that I found your YT channel and blog :) I'm also from London :) I have two children and my son was on recycled bamboo nappies, my daughter is 9 months old and was on them as well. Couples days ago I decided to start my adventure with reusable nappies. Your vlogs are veeeery helpful for me :) thanks. I have bought few nappies on UK websites and few on polish already. At the moment I have only one nappy which I used first time yesterday and that is a really nice experience :) Definitively I would like to follow that way. I will try: Miosono, Fiyyah (pocket), Petit crown trima, Alva baby and Lulli (AIO) (polish brand). I'm deeply interested in Bare and Boho, but can't find them, because they are sold out everywhere :( I plan to follow you and can't wait for more films :) good luck and regards!
I'm so glad they're helpful! That sounds like a great set to start with. It's always a good idea to try lots of different kinds of nappies to see what works for you 🥰
What's in your nappy stash? I'd love to know!

What a lovely thing to do! It sounds like you had a great stash. Applecheeks is on my list to try!

If you want to use the same set of nappies for day and night then I'd go for fitted nappies with wraps 😊

Great info! I would love to hear about your newborn favorites :-)
Ooo yes that would be a fun one! On the list 🥰
We're from Hawai'i and loving the Bear and Boho nappies. Unfortunately, they're out of stock at the moment, but thanks for telling us about them!
They're beautiful aren't they! So sad that they're out of stock. Keep an eye out for more, there should be a delivery soon!
