1.) If management sees him as a good backup, OK. I worry about that and my gut says we need options. 2.) Petey is coming back. Since the Olympics got canceled for NHLers it took a while for the steroids to kick in for lots of guys. 3.) Hughes will continue to trend upwards, but that could plateau if he switches to the R side. 4.) Kuzmenko will be between .5 and .6 points per game, and will give us depth on the 2nd PP. 5.) Podz gets the better opportunity and Hoglander will have to fight for minutes. Hope he comes out flying! 6.) Our D is R side weak. Everyone knows it but no one will give up a decent guy unless we cough up a good player. Think better than Pearson or Garland. Thanks for the video, and your work is good. I understand self depreciating humor but I give you more credit than that. Keep up the good work. I look forward to more.
Why is everyone so down on Canucks defence? They were 8th overall in goals against average in the regular season, offensively they were 15th in goals for.
5 on 5, they played a pretty good team defense under Boudreau. Pk is where they fell apart. Mikheyev and Lazar should help in that regard immensely. Canucks has a dark horse shot at being a surprise this season.
8th in SAPG as well and that's including the abysmal PK. Then you factor in that both Mikhayev and Lazar are PK specialists....yeah, defense really doesn't look bad at all. Everyone just seems to rate defenses on offensive numbers and in that way, no, they're not great....but, that's not the defenses' priority.
Well with Martin in that small sample size half of the roster out he managed to stop the very best teams in the entire league facing 50 shots a game and not to mention stopping the top 2 players McDavid and Drysdale if it wasn't for him canucks would have not even been close to playoff contention that year it was like bubble demko with that small sample sized he played, even HTH on his live stream nobody didn't expected that coming from Martin kept on robbing them like crazy.
I think the big difference will be that we have a full season under Boudreau. And Pearson is good but don't think he's first line good. Same with Garland but he's definitely a huge part of the offense. And I like those subliminal messages...😆
Yes I agree a full year of Boudreau might make a huge difference. True Pearson is good but not great. Haha i'm glad you liked those messages, I try to have fun sometimes😂
Great videos man you deserve way more views

Good insight, it’s hard to disagree with any of your points! Thanks for watching, appreciate the kind words - really made my day 👍🏼
Best about this video is it doesn't involve JT Miller or Bo Horvat contracts and rumors.
Yes already lots of vids out there covering that, decided to lay off on that topic here 😂

Why ya gotta use the most depressed looking pic of Demko I've ever seen lol
for whatever reason, he doesnt smile in a lot of his profile photos
@@CP4Z167 He hasn't been happy since his rookie season lol www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/photos/thatcher-demko-2017-39.jpg
Hes not depressed, just bracing himself to make 40 saves a night
