معهد ميرزو للموسيقى عمل على مشروع لأرشفة عشر أغاني وقصص تراثية شنكالية قديمة في كتيب صغير. هذا المشروع يهدف للحفاظ على التراث الشفهي للشعب الشنكالي، الذي يتميز بتدوين تاريخه شفهيًا. نظرًا لأن هذا التراث معرض للخطر بسبب عدم تدوينه سابقًا، قام فريق مختص من المعهد بجمع هذه الأغاني والقصص للحفاظ عليها ونشرها.
منذ تأسيسه في عام 2019، يسعى المعهد لحفظ وإحياء تراث المنطقة من خلال مهرجانات وحفلات ودراسة الموسيقى أكاديميًا.
Mirzo Institute worked on a project to archive ten old Shingali songs and folk tales in a small booklet. This project aims to preserve the oral heritage of the Shingali people, who have traditionally recorded their history orally. Given that this heritage is at risk due to the lack of written records, a specialized team from the institute has collected these songs and stories to preserve and disseminate them.
Since its establishment in 2019, the institute has been striving to preserve and revive the region's heritage through festivals, concerts, and the academic study of music.
