Loved your reaction to my ult THE BOYZ Maverick. When TBZ opened the concert at KCON LA 2022 with Maverick, the entire arena went insane! An unforgettable experience for me, for fans of other groups to react like that.

I would like to address that one comment in the chat saying the member who would live at the end was decided by fanvote, they actually decided it by doing rock/paper/scissors😂 eric won. they posted a whole video of them doing that too

I don't know if you've ever seen Battle Royale? But that's what the M/V is based on.. (and a bit of Squid Game).
That's why they're in like school uniform-looking getups and fighting each other. In Battle Royale students were pitched against each other and given the collars. The collars are to make sure they don't try to escape, defect or become a saboteur. (It'll kill them if they do so by exploding).
Loved the reaction, I have so far had one time where I got to yell "BACK IN THE GAME SON". Hope you get to use it more than me.

It's based on the legendary Japanese movie "Battle Royale" (2000) that is largely credited for inspiring the entire genre of battle royale in games, books, and movies that the world has been crazy about for the past 20 years now (see Hunger Games and Fortnite). Long plot short, it's about a bunch of school mates being kidnapped and forced to kill each other. They modernized it a bit by making the school uniforms slightly resemble that of Squid Games' uniform, another battle royale genre show.

You need to watch the complete opposite of this song with the Boyz in their MV called Thrill Ride! It's more cutsy and colorful, fun, and poolside! This is coming from a girl that likes MV more like Maverick, and I do love this too, but it just shows how versatile they are! Good actors!

SVT are Kings of Synchronization, and The Boyz are the Princes 🤴 they are great dances always give such full production in their choreography
MAVERICK is such a hard choreography that isn't the moves that is hard, but it's the power need to execute the moves. You need lots of power so the moves dont look borring but then you need control the movements so you can release and lockto match the music before moving to next move. not to mention the stamina you need to carry the dance during full song
Saw them live at KCON definitely recommend to see them live if you get a chance. There certain groups that are worth seeing live they are definitely on that list

Have been a fan of theirs for a few years, honestly they are not the most powerful singers but I love the variety of their songs, they can do both sweet cute songs and also powerful and edgy ones.

??i guess maybe u haven't listened to much of their music? tbz have incredible vocals and a lot of their bsides showcase that, also their live performances. even their main rapper sings really well

@@notagirl_ have listened to them A LOT, basically, i spend 90% of my time only listening to them, and lucky enough i watched two concerts, they are pretty good singing ballads live, but the volume of the backing vocal track is always quite high, the breathing is obvious but the live singing isn’t. Even if you don’t go to concerts, you can watch their tv performances, the backing vocal is always on. In one live performance of Lip Gloss (I don’t remember which event), the backing vocal volume is surprisingly low, and honestly, they were a mess, even Sangyeon the main vocalist just mimed the whole way.
Some more examples, lately I watched a clip of Hyunjae messing up the dance and stopped singing for a second but you could still hear him singing perfectly, it’s just lip syncing! In one of the concerts I watched, they were not even dancing but just walking around the stage, but Younghoon forgot to put his hand mic to his mouth, but again, you could still hear him 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@hklaurent well obviously dancing while singing live is difficult for most artists 😭 especially with tbz choreo which is famous for being quite difficult, i dont think a single live performance where they didnt do their best suggests theyre a mess.. and as someone who's gone to their concerts u should know, the main vocalists, esp chanhee and sangyeon, will always hit those highnotes, for example the ones in maverick. i just dont rlly think its fair to say theyre not powerful singers when they have plenty live performances, with not loud backing tracks, where they sing incredibly.
