Why all of the fast, zooming camera work? Yuck. How can I witness how wonderful this product is if the camera work is designed to not let me soak the lessons learned in?
*Because the vast majority of youtube viewers don't sit through 20-30 minute long videos unless it's a podcast. Lastly: _maybe_ try focusing on the fact she made something beautiful instead of feigned spells of vertigo.
Have you tried using liquid wood? That is what we are using here. We are actually painting a layer of wood on then staining it so you don't have to sand off the old finish... www.tryliquidwood.com
This just answered every question I've been struggling with trying to patch scratches and chipped off pieces on a table I bought. This is exactly what they used to create this table top.
You would use the same poly as any wood finish. The durability would depend on the use. i.e. A dresser does not need to be as durable as flooring or countertops...
I need a video showing how to deal with edged when they are up against another object. Like when a counter is up against a stove. How do I finish those areas?
I'm sorry you just blew my mind. I am wanting to redo our kitchen table because I accidentally sanded through the veneer. It is currently the color American walnut and I want to keep it that color. Are you saying that I just buy the paint through them and paint the entire table? And then you take their stain to make the wood markings and then I can stain it with any kind of stain I want after that meaning I can use the American walnut that I currently use through my whole house??

Each of those is 15 sq feet. A gallon kit covers 400 sq ft. So the answer would be about 26... I would recommend getting the all purpose kit which allows you to purchase according to square footage. Panel doors should not need a top coat as there is enough already built in to protect a deck for a year... You can add the sealer to make it more durable and get the sheen if you wish. www.woodfinishkit.com will take you to the multi-purpose kits
I want to paint my exterior, white steel door with Retique it "light wood" base color with grain tool then stain it a dark golden color. Can I use a stain practice board of ANY MATERIAL (wood, MDF, plastic, etc...) to paint the "light wood" base color and stain it with a couple of practice stains? Does it matter that my practice board isn't white steel like the actual door? I want to be sure I end up with the right color stain on my door...thank you!
You can and we suggest you do that because it will come out the same, however, you must use the exterior version of liquid wood on any surface that the sun will hit. The exterior version is so durable that it can even be used for decking... www.retique.com/exteriorliquidwood We also have a product called Wood'n Stain that is just as durable. This is like a gel stain with real wood in it. You can also use the for doors, garage doors and decking... www.woodnstain.com

I have built outdoor furniture using construction grade 2x4s. Past experience says this does not stain very well and I dont want to just paint it. my question is will this work on 2x4s to give it a nice wood grain look?
If you want to use it for 2x4's I would suggest the next generation liquid wood called Wood'n Stain. It was developed for decks and if you use one coat, it will keep the existing grain. It still has wood in it but it also has the stain. Works for interior or exterior www.WoodnStain.com

Once the grain has been placed, can you seal it without staining it?
That is a great question. Yes, we have many customers that do that.
