@@sonomidoriko1591 I think they are referring to how the united states exported Shermans to Russia and the UK under lend-lease.
But as for buying, it took the UK something like 60 years to pay for all those tanks, the quantity was huge.
The Sherman was the second most built tank of the war, at 50,000 units. More T-34s were made, but not by much (roughly about 7,000) and the Sherman was a much better tank. Especially once it got over its teething problems.

@@KaBar41 and shermans are applauded for very reliable & very versatile. even the russians love it since they are easy use and to fix than most of their own tanks. and hopefully you already watch yukari tank corner ovas too

Battle Hymn and field arty March are two of the best U.S. military songs ever. Best version of Battle Hymn I ever heard though was in Ken Burns' Civil War documentary.
