@@Onimyst after misogi knock down dash h.stomp hits super meaty making it +8 on hit or +6 on block. Gives you cr.hp without counter hit now giving you 2 h.stomps in a combo
kage is def not evil ryu, evil ryu was a much better character. Also, he plays guile, he is simply testing in these videos. He won't switch off guile unless he finds something crazy. Which i imagine he won't (I'm speaking specifically in tournament play ofc)
Interesting. i guess it maybe safe for me to get back into Kage as a pocket. A lot of the time with this game i dont get too invested with using multiple characters is because its too much up and down nerf/buff shit. When you been playing SF since the 90s its hard to keep up with all the changes smh Im just wondering is this the Final update where everything stays as is going forward? Since SF6 is on the way?
I don't understand how people can get seriously good at fighting games, every time I play them I feel stuck and it feels like I make ZERO fucking progress. I always manage to get good enough to know I suck. It just feels like I can't read people at all, I just play against whatever I know the character can do and try to not be predictable myself. I can't get people to whiff when I want them to, and instead I always get punished for throwing out something in neutral. I am getting sick and tired of this shit! Doesn't matter how much I play, pressing the right button at the perfect spacing is beyond me. I always need a second to react to every single movement, I always end up trying to wait for my opponent to make a mistake or make a big movement I can react to 100%. And I have a tendency to flinch at a lot in neutral because I want to punish their random buttons. (Kage Main forever) And losing to other Kage players is the worst feeling I can get. Makes my blood boil!
@@Mcezz606 Gold rank, And I just got ANNHIHILATED by another Gold rank Kage player. Makes me wanna just kill myself. Obvious exaggeration but it is how I feel. Like I have the rage of Kage inside but no way to let it out in the game haha.
You might have a problem reacting and flinching in neutral because you might be trying to react to too many things at the same time, pick one thing at a time (like anti-airing) and accept that the rest will bonk you until they do, when they do, focus on that. Normally people won't do things like whiff buttons if you don't give them a reason to, which is basically putting urself in the position where the button you want the opponent to whiff is their best option, if they aren't pressing anything walk forward, if you do that it will get them to press buttons, then you can start pretending to walk into their buttons to just walk back right outside their range and punishing them. But of course you gotta know the range of the opponent. If they're pressing random buttons in neutral, position yourself right outside their range and sweep when you see them come out, you might get a crush counter knockdown and if not the knockdown might be just enough to help you get in, and since you're trying to hit their extended hurtbox, if they don't press anything you'll most likely whiff and that's harder to punish than a blocked sweep.
@@LealFireball Yeah, I think I try to think about everything because I don't want to ever get hit by anything... so instead in some matches I get hit by... everything hahaha! I try a lot of what you say I just can't make it work unless there are some big moves that are super easy to punish like Giefs HP. Most of the time it just feels like I get hit and because their buttons have longer reach I can never get to them, and when I am then unable to whiff punish as well, I get torn apart. I will try to limit what I think about but as soon as I get hit by something or try to focus on the ground game I get jumped in on. Like my head gets overloaded. Thanx for the tips, not sure it is gonna help me, but I appreciate it anyways.
I usually just try to do things one at a time. When I try to focus on one thing, I am able to react to it instinctively. But if I try to react to everything, I am having a hard time. So I just usually practice punishing/reacting in MUs one at a time until I get comfortable to it then move on. Long process but worth it as your muscle memory will be clear, smooth and no bad habits done.
He talked about playing Gouki some time ago. He said it was already too late and that he would perform worse than the previous competitive Gouki mains. That plus everyone knowing the high level match up is a considerable detriment.
Well, the more I played, the less I enjoyed this game. May be it is time to let go and play something else. I am getting tired of playing endless Luke, Ryu, Ken and Kage on Ranked
My ranked match doesn’t get a single Luke. There’s Ryu, Ken, and Kage but more Guile, Rashid, Balrog, Bison, Nash, Chun. But you should try play battle lounge. You can request what characters you want to fight. Or casual match.
Thanks for the translation! Kage is a lot of fun and this update will definitely make him more enjoyable.
For shotos, kage is the necessary evil to fight abigail lol
air fireball actually bullying a heavy weight character? looks like sf4 is back boys
Kage having better neutral than at least one shoto literally ever is great progress lmao
dan >:V
6:45 Right there Daigo test if Kage can deal with Abigail without projectiles.
Abi has ca there
Good observation
Daigo enjoying bullying Abigail is the best thing today.
I hope daigo gets to hear about/try out the axe loop meaty setup soon. I know he really hoped they gave kage that loop naturally
Yo what's this setup?

Kage used Air Hadouken. It's super effective
Kage's air fireball is nuts if you do it low. Baits flash kicks and dps well, and does a BUNCH of damage on hit or trade
That Abigail had no clue what Daigo was doing
Just like by the end of SF 4... Daigo is running Evil Ryu..... Pattern?🤔

last update normaly
can we pls get translations of sakosan
That Sagat played average but Daigo not using VT1 so he can't get to you kick him down or uppercut he just watching him do moves and backing up
Daigo turning to the geay side...
This character, Cage, is geay as hail
If I ever get this game it will have to be for dan and kage. Kage specially with azura's skin.
Check out sako if you want better gameplay. His kage is fucking cracked right now

Kage the zoner
lol at "tasteless buffs"

I wish ppl jumped more SF starting to feel like Virtual Fighter

to be fair... Daigo's Guile was very spammy. Dude is awesome, probably a GOAT... but yea i don't see how he's grieving over projectiles.
wtf are you talking about. also "spammy" what are you, a 12 y.o in an arcade? only people who talk about fireballs like that are garbage players.
I felt bad for abigail players watching this, what is he even supposed to do
Most Abigail players wont be playing against Daigo.
Fake buff for kage. You stay down and the fireball don t hit you.
I think Daigo would do well using Akuma but for some reason seems to have no interest in there character at all
We don’t play Akuma or Ken, wack Ryu copies
Akuma need a whole year to master and SFV is done.

Confirmed. Ryu still sucks. Daigo is right. He still plays the same. And that's not good.
Daigo found a new char he can spam fireballs with?
