Hello sir. My name is Ralph Garrett and I’m a keyboardist. I wanted to ask you how much would you charge if I asked could you create a Ableton TouchOSC template that would be SUPER convenient for me live performances to use on my iOS devices. If so, I can send you my Ableton template for reference to create and understand what I’m aiming for. Thanks and let me know at your convenience.

Hey, thanks for reaching out. Send me a message at music@timcorpus.net with some details about what you're trying to accomplish and I can get back to you there.

Hey Tim, your videos have been very helpful! I’m looking to see how I can create blinking led lights to reflect the metronome in Ableton. Please help

Happy to help! I don't think Local Messages can do that, so you'd need a script that tells a box to change color on the pulses.

Loving these videos! Could we get an example of using a boolean? If hold button is on (true), send local message to fader from a grid of 4 static values. If hold button is off (false), the grid sends the midi message but not the local message to the fader. The fader locks to 1 of 4 values from the 4 button grid, if the hold button is turned on. Kind of like making your own choice of toggle or momentary with a button. Easy way I thought is to make the appropriate one "visible" or not depending if the hold button is on/off. One is linked to the faders with local message and one isn't.

Is there a possibility to make the label red when at 0 and green at 127 ?
So far I managed to make it go violet with different borders when superior to 0 ... Thx

I think you just have to fiddle with the color scheme for what you're working with (for example adding blue to red gets purple). Also you can change your scale from 1 to 0 or vice versa.

Great stuff! Is It possible to use different layouts on different devices/monitors simultaneously?

Not sure exactly what you mean, but if you wanted to send messages to two different computers, yes you can do that. You can specify message connections in the right-side panel.

@@TimCorpus I own two touchscreen monitors, both connected to same computer (with Cubase). I would like to use two different documents (layouts), one for each monitor, for example to control the mixer console and a VST simultaneously. :)

@@guido8113 ah I see. As far as I know, no that's not possible unless maybe you were to make one really long template that stretched across multiple screens.
