I downloaded solidworks 2018 from getintopc and can't install. There is an issue that showing "error 6" while activating the licence in my laptop with windows 11. My friend who also updated his laptop to windows 11 has same issue. What is the reason ? Is this issue related to widows 11 ?
It is due to excess microscoft c++ server creation, you cannot find a proper solution for it anywhere even if it works after few days it will show up again, so better reset your PC properly with only app data removal and again install it it will definitely work💯👍

Use 2023 version of SolidWorks and update drivers and .net framework
