내 최애곡이 될 뻔 했는데 씨제이가 다 망쳤다. 지들 음원 팔아먹으려고 자기네 가수 꽂는 이 미친.. 아무리 그래도 그렇지 드라마 시청자들의 여운조차 뺏어가면 어떡하냐. 완전 다른 곡이 됐으며 원곡가수가 피쳐링가수가 되는 신기한 마법. 대체 도입부분 반주는 왜 바꿨는데? 이게 선물이냐? 뒤로 갈수록 이 곡의 분위기는 아예... 저 멀리 하늘로...... 아아, 님은 갔습니다. 'never far away'님은 갔습니다. 도깨비 때문에 이 음원이 잘 팔리긴 하겠으나 진짜 도깨비 오슽흐 중 최초로 실망감이 든 노래. 그냥 한수지 님이 다 부르게 하지.. 진짜 딱 50초만 부르시고 퇴장이네. 만약 한수지 님이 끝까지 완창하셨다면 음원은 더 잘 팔렸을 거다. 도깨비 음감님 천재 중 천재이신거 아는데 왜 갑자기 이러시는 거죠....

Some people don't notice that there are two singers here. Han Soo Ji is the original singer and she still sings her part here at the beginning. Heize has a higher different tone and sings after Han Soo Ji. Then they duet towards the end. I guess the producers didn't think that an unknown singer would sell so they added Heize and just made Han Soo Ji a feature. Personally, I prefer the original version but this one is good as well... but had somewhat lost that mystery from the original one.
제가 들었던 생각은 아무래도 원곡자이신 한수지님에 대한 예의가 않됬다고 생각됩니다. 이번 사건으로 아무 죄없던 헤이즈님에게 어느정도의 타격이 있지 않을까 싶네요. 그러니깐 더이상 욕 먹기전에 씨제이는 원곡인 never for away를 올려주셔야 하지않을 까요......... 노래 정말로 좋았는데 참...... 아쉬운 곡중 하나인것 같습니다.
안타깝지만 never far away는 이 곡의 제목이 아닙니다. 뉴스로도 확인 가능한 내용인데 원래 이 곡은 50초정도의 제목조차 없는 곡이였습니다. 그러나 시청자들의 반응이 폭발적이라 50초에서 3분 가량으로 편곡을 진행했고 그제서야 round and round라는 제목이 생긴거죠. never far away는 곡 길이가 50초밖에 되지 않고, 정식 음반이 나오기 전 시청자들이 붙인 가칭입니다.
이예진님이 드라마와 드라마에 삽입됐던 50초 분량의 노래에 애정을 갖고 안타까움을 느끼는 것은 이해하지만, 실제로 Never Far Away는 음원을 내줬으면 하는 사람들이 붙인 가제라는 것을 연예뉴스나 다른 매체를 통해 알 수 있으며, Round and Round라는 제목으로 나온 이 곡이 정식 음원입니다.
원곡은 한수지씨가 부른 never far away라는 곡으로 드라마 중간에 50초가량 버전으로 삽입되었던 곡이고, 도깨비랑 저승사자가 밤길에 걸어오는 런웨이장면, 대파런웨이장면에서도 쓰이고, 각종 예능에서도 자주쓰이는 곡인데, 이런식으로 헤이즈끼어팔기는 아닌것같다. 잘모르는 외국팬들은 좋다고 듣고있는 실정이고, 현재 멜론차트 4위랭크되어있는데, 원곡가수를 피처링으로 돌리고 CJ의 갑질로 본인 소속가수 끼워팔아서 3분30초버전내놓는건 좀 아니지. 헤이즈가 아무리 인지도있고, 그렇다쳐도 원곡이 한수지씨가 부른곡인데, 이런식으로 다된곡에 헤이즈뿌려넣기는 아니다. 이글좀 퍼뜨려주세요. 이거 ost걍 발매취소하고, part15로 다시 한수지씨가 부른 원곡버전 50초도 괜찮으니깐 다시 넣어라. 도입부도 원곡그대로하고, 랩부분 이런거 빼고, 걍 한수지씨가 부른 원곡버전으로 다시 발매해라 CJ개자식들아
Actually, on my own opinion (its just opinion so please take it easy) Soo Ji Han's voice will be perfect for this song even with no featuring. I didnt mean Heize's voice was not good but Soo Ji's voice seems like full of soul and emotion and i think thats why one minute song can give many love by fans or people who watch this intro drama. Well like i said, Heize's voice didn't mean not good. It also good but is kinda of different feeling. Soo Ji can make people falling on this song after hear it on their first time and Heize voice just only kind of ballad so people not 'attention' too much on her voice. Well CJ must have their own reason to make Heize became the main singer. But i think if they 'must' add Heize it will be nice she did on the rap part cause she was good on the rap too and many OST with ballad song but have a rap part too and it was a good song like 'Auditory Hallucination' by Jang Jae In feat NaShow in 'Kill Me Heal Me' drama or 'Once Again' by Mad Clown feat Kim Na Young on 'Descendant of The Sun' drama or maybe like 'Stay With Me' by Punch feat. Chanyeol who also give their voice for this drama. Anyway, i really hope they release a second version of this song (and this for Soo Ji Han's voice only) like 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds' do for their ost (its called 'Because I Miss You' by Beige (for Ra On ver.) and for sec ver by Hwang Chi Yeol (for Lee Young ver.). Both of them can sing it verry well and that song was a hit.
I have gone through the comment section and most of comments are complaints. it seem like CJ made a wrong move!! maybe CJ want to promoted Heize but probably end up make Heize getting hate from fans. How ironic? If you really want to promote Heize why don't let her sing since the beginning? So that Han Soo Ji's voice wouldn't grave in our heart this much. I feel scammed. Was waiting so many days for this release and it doesn't feel right. First of all, what do you mean Han Soo Ji is only featured?! Her voice was the one that made this song so-so much captivating. And she is just featured?! Secondly, Heize is a great artist, but it's not her song and the overall feeling of this song is missed now. Her voice just doesn't fit in. I am very sad. I have a feeling that I will come back to fmv "Never far away" and not to this official release. Well, on the bright side, at least we got the lyrics
The original singer of this song is definitely Han Soo Ji, the first chorus is sing by her. I guess the situation is... the song originally was only 1 min long, but no one predicted it would be that hit, so they found heize to record the rest of the song.

I think the drama production knew this song will be hit since Kim Eunsook drama ost are always hits. But comments from korean above said that CJ lengthen the song to sell it and promote heize as well. this song, roy kim and beautiful life, honestly those great ones in drama. Few Goblin OSTs have two versions- one that plays in the drama during the first few episodes and then the other version that cj officially releases. They did this with Beautiful, Stay with me -because a verse with different lyrics was sung by Punch and chanyeol's voice was not in the drama version , and now round and round. Maybe the earlier ones were like demo versions. I personally prefer Crush's beautiful and Stay with me with Chanyeol *The song wouldnt be the same without Chanyeol*, and Han SooJi shouldve sung the longer version as well. Heize's voice just doesnt give me the feels like Sooji's first verse.

finally they release it but i think they change it bit.. its sound diff (correct me of am wrong bcs am not a musician) but i prefer the opening song the most bcs the instrument at begining co catchy that gives strong impression of this song thats why many ppl get addictive after hearing it but after hearing this it gives me less emotion from this song compare with uncomplete one..(go find "never far away" FM video) u will understand what am saying about..

after those 4 lives are up or even before that, i think that ji eun tak will become an angel and be immortal together with goblin and spend their days loving each other and also helping other people (like what goblin usually does). on the last episode, ji euntak refers to herself as an angel (at the airport) and some lady watching the news said that she sees euntak as an angel. so maybe this is hinting us that euntak will become an angel because of her good deeds
I saw it as being that once Eun Tak has died for the fourth time, Kim Shin will die too, and they'll go to heaven together (a bit how Grim Reaper and Sunny 'died' together). My reasoning is that the thing that made him regain his immortality after the sword was removed was the contract with Eun Tak to meet her at every first snow fall. Thus, when she dies for the final time, that contract will terminate and he'll die with her, so he wont be alone forever. (As he'll no longer have a strong purpose to keep him on earth, as he did both the first time he was made Goblin (killing the evil eunuch) and the second time (Eun Tak's contract). Though the idea that he'll remain as a Goblin and Eun Tak as an angel on earth is really really lovely as she did mention that she wouldn't mind immortality if it meant being with him.(And that would make such a good spin off...in my dreams :D)
a hyung, you are basing it off what we think we know. The butterfly already said Kim Shin's punishment has ended with his sword pulled out. There is no longer anything forcing him to continue to live on. He lives because he wants to wait for Eun Tak. When she ends her fourth, there is a very good likelihood that he will choose to simply die as well. Note that he is ageless but no longer immune to death from violence (aka someone hits him with a truck) and can be killed if he simply refuses to use his powers to defend himself. The distinction between being ageless and being killable is pretty big (think Thor). Of course that raises the question of whether it would be considered suicide but that is up to the writer. Alternatively, remember that wang yeo ended up going to the after life with kim sun and the butterfly god could arrange the same by simply asking him to choose at the time of EunTak's fourth death.
Finally!!! But I'm disappointed it's not the original singer. It's a good song however Heize voice doesn't go well with it. It should be Han soo ji ft heize. Give me the original singer!!
Both artists are great! But could it be possible to make han soo ji record the whole song? Like PLEASE HER VOICE FITS since we are so used to listening the first 50 secs thru the whole show we have come to love it and heize's voice comes off as a little different to us as I said we are so used to han soo ji singing the intro thus obviously we were expecting soo ji to sing rest of the song as well. 'never far away'님은 갔습니다. 도깨비 때문에 이 음원이 잘 팔리긴 하겠으나 진짜 도깨비 오슽흐 중 최초로 실망감이 든 노래. 그냥 한수지 님이 다 부르게 하지.. 진짜 딱 50초만 부르시고 퇴장이네. 만약 한수지 님이 끝까지 완창하셨다면 음원은 더 잘 팔렸을 거다. 도깨비 음감님 천재 중 천재이신거 아는데 왜 갑자기 이러시는 거죠....

Some people don't notice that there are two singers here. Han Soo Ji is the original singer and she still sings her part here at the beginning. Heize has a higher different tone and sings after Han Soo Ji. Then they duet towards the end. I guess the producers didn't think that an unknown singer would sell so they added Heize and just made Han Soo Ji a feature. Personally, I prefer the original version but this one is good as well... but had somewhat lost that mystery from the original one.

뉴스로도 확인 가능한 내용인데 원래 이 곡은 50초정도의 제목조차 없는 곡이였습니다.
그러나 시청자들의 반응이 폭발적이라 50초에서 3분 가량으로 편곡을 진행했고 그제서야 round and round라는 제목이 생긴거죠.
never far away는 곡 길이가 50초밖에 되지 않고, 정식 음반이 나오기 전 시청자들이 붙인 가칭입니다.

Actually, on my own opinion (its just opinion so please take it easy) Soo Ji Han's voice will be perfect for this song even with no featuring. I didnt mean Heize's voice was not good but Soo Ji's voice seems like full of soul and emotion and i think thats why one minute song can give many love by fans or people who watch this intro drama. Well like i said, Heize's voice didn't mean not good. It also good but is kinda of different feeling. Soo Ji can make people falling on this song after hear it on their first time and Heize voice just only kind of ballad so people not 'attention' too much on her voice.
Well CJ must have their own reason to make Heize became the main singer. But i think if they 'must' add Heize it will be nice she did on the rap part cause she was good on the rap too and many OST with ballad song but have a rap part too and it was a good song like 'Auditory Hallucination' by Jang Jae In feat NaShow in 'Kill Me Heal Me' drama or 'Once Again' by Mad Clown feat Kim Na Young on 'Descendant of The Sun' drama or maybe like 'Stay With Me' by Punch feat. Chanyeol who also give their voice for this drama.
Anyway, i really hope they release a second version of this song (and this for Soo Ji Han's voice only) like 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds' do for their ost (its called 'Because I Miss You' by Beige (for Ra On ver.) and for sec ver by Hwang Chi Yeol (for Lee Young ver.). Both of them can sing it verry well and that song was a hit.

I feel scammed. Was waiting so many days for this release and it doesn't feel right. First of all, what do you mean Han Soo Ji is only featured?! Her voice was the one that made this song so-so much captivating. And she is just featured?! The original singer of this song is definitely Han Soo Ji, the first chorus is sing by her. I guess the situation is... the song originally was only 1 min long, but no one predicted it would be that hit, so they found heize to record the rest of the song.
You can hear clearly the singers of two chorus are not the same, cuz the first is from Han Soo Ji, second from heize.
They also did it to roy kim's T_T as if they were teasing you, they kept on playing the solo in the drama but released the one with the duet. T__T

Few Goblin OSTs have two versions- one that plays in the drama during the first few episodes and then the other version that cj officially releases. They did this with Beautiful, Stay with me -because a verse with different lyrics was sung by Punch and chanyeol's voice was not in the drama version , and now round and round. Maybe the earlier ones were like demo versions.
I personally prefer Crush's beautiful and Stay with me with Chanyeol *The song wouldnt be the same without Chanyeol*, and Han SooJi shouldve sung the longer version as well. Heize's voice just doesnt give me the feels like Sooji's first verse.

도깨비 챙겨봤던 애청자로서 이번 음원에 대해 크게 실망했습니다. CJ 소속되어 있는 가수가 헤이즈 씨여서 한수지 씨는 음원을 자신의 이름으로 내지 못 하는 건가요? 이 곡에 대한 상실감을 느끼는 한수지 씨는 생각하지 않는건가요? 이 곡에 대한 상실감은 우리보다 한수지 씨가 훨씬 더 크실텐데 하루 빨리 음원 수정 하시길 바랍니다. 헤이즈 팬은 아니지만 안티는 더더욱 아닙니다. 솔직히 50초 부터 감정이 많이 깨지네요.

헤이즈 보컬은 뭔가... 카랑카랑하면서 안쪽으로 말려들어가면서 먹는 느낌이 있는데 한수지님은 꾸밈 없이 속삭이는 듯이 몽환적이어서 좋아요...
제가 보기에는 무심한 듯 예정된 운명대로 흘러가는 극의 분위기와 이 곡의 분위기와는 한수지님이 더 잘 어울리는 것 같네요.
어쨋든 헤이즈 까고싶은거잖아 감추지말고 숨김없이 말해 찌질하게 나쁜인간 안되면서 남 까려하지말고

finally they release it but i think they change it bit.. its sound diff (correct me of am wrong bcs am not a musician) but i prefer the opening song the most bcs the instrument at begining co catchy that gives strong impression of this song thats why many ppl get addictive after hearing it but after hearing this it gives me less emotion from this song compare with uncomplete one..(go find "never far away" FM video) u will understand what am saying about..
yoonrini exactly.. Don't quite understand why they changed the tune / arrangement of original ost in the drama.. First is stay with me, then beautiful, then heaven, now this.. I know that those used in drama were demo version, but those versions r better imo T-T

for the ending, based off what the show has shown/said, Goblin has to go through more sadness then love. yeah Eun Tak has 3 more lives but that just means goblin has to watch her die, 3 MORE TIMES!!! & after those 4 lives are up, he'll be lonely again/forever. right guys? did I interpret that right? or did I miss something?

Novie Tyas Noegroho I mean why couldn't he just died with Eun Tak? Why does he have to keep living as a goblin? The grim reaper was able to die and be reincarnated so why couldn't Kim Shin? 😩😰😰
after those 4 lives are up or even before that, i think that ji eun tak will become an angel and be immortal together with goblin and spend their days loving each other and also helping other people (like what goblin usually does). on the last episode, ji euntak refers to herself as an angel (at the airport) and some lady watching the news said that she sees euntak as an angel. so maybe this is hinting us that euntak will become an angel because of her good deeds
I saw it as being that once Eun Tak has died for the fourth time, Kim Shin will die too, and they'll go to heaven together (a bit how Grim Reaper and Sunny 'died' together).
My reasoning is that the thing that made him regain his immortality after the sword was removed was the contract with Eun Tak to meet her at every first snow fall. Thus, when she dies for the final time, that contract will terminate and he'll die with her, so he wont be alone forever. (As he'll no longer have a strong purpose to keep him on earth, as he did both the first time he was made Goblin (killing the evil eunuch) and the second time (Eun Tak's contract).
Though the idea that he'll remain as a Goblin and Eun Tak as an angel on earth is really really lovely as she did mention that she wouldn't mind immortality if it meant being with him.(And that would make such a good spin off...in my dreams :D)
a hyung, you are basing it off what we think we know. The butterfly already said Kim Shin's punishment has ended with his sword pulled out. There is no longer anything forcing him to continue to live on. He lives because he wants to wait for Eun Tak. When she ends her fourth, there is a very good likelihood that he will choose to simply die as well.
Note that he is ageless but no longer immune to death from violence (aka someone hits him with a truck) and can be killed if he simply refuses to use his powers to defend himself. The distinction between being ageless and being killable is pretty big (think Thor). Of course that raises the question of whether it would be considered suicide but that is up to the writer.
Alternatively, remember that wang yeo ended up going to the after life with kim sun and the butterfly god could arrange the same by simply asking him to choose at the time of EunTak's fourth death.

Finally!!! But I'm disappointed it's not the original singer. It's a good song however Heize voice doesn't go well with it. It should be Han soo ji ft heize. Give me the original singer!!
Both artists are great! But could it be possible to make han soo ji record the whole song? Like PLEASE HER VOICE FITS since we are so used to listening the first 50 secs thru the whole show we have come to love it and heize's voice comes off as a little different to us as I said we are so used to han soo ji singing the intro thus obviously we were expecting soo ji to sing rest of the song as well. I hope the producers look at these comments and SOMEHOW make han soo ji record the whole song once again ❤❤❤
