So in medical college hospitals only two batches of residents are handling the patients. One of the batches has their final exam soon so possibly only one batch will remain. The residents are protesting because they have been working since March 2020 and now they need the help of a new batch of residents. But the counselling is being delayed due to a Supreme court case.
Also the 3rd year batches will be relieved With the omicron rising cases Imagine the state of healthcare with serious dearth of doctors As it is the doctor to patient ratio is so low in India
