    I agree with Happy2022 that it is a super video with brilliant advice for off-road racing also great for hoping to race the Skyline this Sept. Good job Claire !

    Good advice…well maybe not the sugary food, at least for me. At the Skyline Scotland races, don’t rely on aid stations for food. They are only on the long races, and may not have much left. I did the the RoS, lots of choice, the salty baby potatoes where the best, last year the BNU, only crisps and nuts left. Also I found that what worked fine on my training recce, I could not stomach after 8 hrs.
    Yes pace is very important on the longer races, if you can chat with your fellow runners you are about right, and will still have the juice to sprint round the last corner for the cameras.
    The terrain is very difficult if you haven’t trained on it, I am very fortunate to live in Kinlochleven, come and join me for a run, beds normally available.

      Thanks Mark! I can't get away from the baby this year as going to the UTMB hopefully, but maybe another year!

    Really good tips, and some of which I wish I'd thought through prior to the NVR last year! (Was completely sorted this year though ;-p)
