This watch absolutely kills me because the Chopard 1860 its homaging is in my opinion, with salmon dial in lucent steel, the best looking watch ever made; HOWEVER, Farasute have instead of making it just over 36mm like the Chopard, made this one 39mm which would just wear too large for me - even though technically it would fit. If this was 36mm I'd have already bought it and Farasute have some of the best quality on all of AE, that Cartier Tortue homage you reviewed, that I said I bought, came in and its impeccable. So I will be watching, hoping, that Farasute make a smaller version of this. If you have their info, it would be awesome if you could mention this to them. Thanks.
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the MAMACOO's watches are the most intriguing.
They are really piquing my interest. This watch is stunning. There’s another one which I saw on only one other channel it’s called Farasute 2024, and I’m obsessed with it. Thanks for the great review.
Thanks for these consistently compelling and fair minded watch reviews. You have a great eye for finding beautiful bargain watches and I'm smitten by this fine example.
Great review Steve, and what a beautiful watch. Looks much more classy than the price would have you believe. Would have preferred it to be 38mm but I can live with these dimensions. Definitely one for my 'to buy' list. Farasute is a brand worth keeping an eye on in the future.
@@Toshtogo122 not at the moment...it's a crazy looking watch, though. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the brand, though. I feel like SOMEONE already did a write-up or review on it.
I haven’t seen anything on this one yet. I really appreciate how you show watches in different lighting conditions and on different straps, it really helps show how the watch wears. Your reviews are always the most helpful and thorough- thank you!
Thank you for reviewing this, it's a beautiful watch that I have been tempted to buy. Seeing the movement, how it is running and some details is particularly helpful 👍. Of course there is now another watch on my wish list 🤣
Im bummed i didnt pull the trigger on this one. There just wasn't enough content on it at the time. The one thing, I wish there was a fitted bracket to go with it. This would be great for a flat link or beads of rice.
I have the silver dial version, and it’s jus perfect, I love it in 39 mm, and would love in 36, even in 34…because this chopard 1860 homage is also very similar to a Dufour “simplicity”, with is a total Grail. A God of Gods.
Hey friend! Great review. Any reccomendations on "sporty" dress watches? So basically a dress warch with 100m WR. Something along the lines of a nomos campus or sarb033/035

@@L.A.C_Santos it's definitely not printed, but it's most likely stamped...as in the pattern is pressed into the dial. I really doubt the pattern is individually engraved/machined into each and every dial...but I've been know to be wrong so 🤷🤣
@ I have a couple stamped guilloche and look different, this watches are real mysteries. They don’t seem to sell by the thousands o even hundreds. The quality is such that you just can’t believe the price, even the expensive Farasutes look too good to be true. It would be great to find out what technique was this dial made with, I suppose the black, salmon and blue dials are not so crisp as the silver one regarding the guilloche because of the color? I love the black one, maybe I’ll get one.

Yes, please make a 34-36mm version.

I’ve been eyeing the deco style tank they make (2241a). Any chance you have this one in the review cue?

@tirrelldaveport3671 the blue shimmer steel one (can't remember what they call it)
nice watch. they should have used a microrotor movement with the subdial at 6. that would have been perfect.
An excellent competitor to the Baltic MR01 for a fraction of the price then
Thx for the review. I love almost all their models. But (everlasting rant), that name is a no go for me.

Might as well double the price and buy a seiko presage. Also the nh35 is overrated and can be insanely inaccurate.
@@jaybrockmeyer9218 the NH would make this watch a good 2mm thicker...wouldn't be worth it IMO
Yea, you're drunk if you think putting an nh movement in here would be an upgrade hahahaha. No one wants a 13mm thick dress watch. Dumb comment
NH movements and see-through caseback are useless IMO, for the Seiko movements aren't really nice to look at.
Wait, so Farasute is no longer classy OR creative? Nice piece.
@@gregtolley3455 so classy and Creative they don't even need the silly text any more 🤣
Did you see that Thorn 'homaged' this silly text? The T002 has Thorn Classic Creation at the top of its dial!
I think it is a real Guilloche, machine made, yes, but guilloche. It’s not printed. It is very evident in the silver version.
