Hearing Bon Iver on this song made me think I'd like them for their own music.... I didnt. Which is a shame since he had a great voice that low register of his is just unbelievable. In so many vids I've seen of Bon Iver performing as a group, it's more of a religious experience with little regard to the quality of singing. Lots of hooting and hollering. But this song is a masterclass.

A lot of people I know find they love folk (at least the indie folk genre) even if they hate country with the passion of a dying supernova! 😂❤ I feel like folk music is a lot more versatile sonically than most country music, but I might just be biased.
