Foch B in my opinion feels more flexible for what they both are for, and more accurate

I prefer the 155, but both are terrifying to poke in front of. Except when I play the 120mm vehicle, all my shots bounce or go wonky

i got both and i prefer the Foch B as it feels more flexible,
my main problem with the Foch 155 is when RNG trolls you and you miss or bounce one or two shells, it feels like your fire power really gets crippled,
compared to the 6 shots of the Foch B, even if you miss or bounce 2 shells, you can still make do with the remaining 4, and it also has a shorter reload compared to the 155
Foch 155 just needs better aimtime or gunhandling and it would be just fine
I got Foch 155 on black market and Foch B today, I'm enjoying Foch B more too

i agree, i feel like the Foch 155 is the forgotten one as it’s reload is longer than the one on the Foch B, yet the potential clip damage is higher on the Foch B
I have a love-hate relationship with my Foch B. When grinding the line it had the 155mm gun but changed it when I was at T8. This gun man, so trollish and the rng on the pen also. Clear pen shot but "no bueno". But when it behaves, man oh man. Brutal clips
use always the better aiming device so it is way more accurate
Foch B actually works. The 155 is a 750hp dpm machine. First one bounces, second one penetrates and the third outright misses.

Is this hard coded into the game engine, or what? Everyone says the same thing and I've just picked the 155. My first battle was a washout but the second was quite good with me coming out top damage dealer and XP earner with three kills.
Last time I was in my LT trying to scout, but I accidently ran into 3 Foch155 and got deleted instantly......I dont know how to describe my feeling, but just imagine this when it happens on you....
Hey Dez, you should try the 10 seconds sixth sense icon mod, it is in Aslain's mod pack(both XVM and non XVM options). It is useful in a lot of scenarios, honestly in most of them with a bit of manual calculation.

@@plasmadrone3123 Indeed it is. It is amazing how many times it has saved me from getting snapped out of the game.
You can set it to 12s to be safe against lights with +2s skill, and still I add +2s more for total 14s to be 100% if by any chance enemy light has radio set.

@@ubiergo1978 in aslains or wot essentials modpack there is an option to make it shine for 10s, then other option below is to extend to 12s. And I add 2s in my mind to make it 14 lol

140 is support medium, good dpm, can snipe from time to time but have much less armor. 430u is a fast heavy, derp gun good armor low dpm, just like 277. Which one is the best depend on you play style, I personally prefer 140 more.
277, 430u, 113, 121, 5A all performs quite similar. mean while 140 is the closest thing to 907. and yes we do not need to talk about 62a and k91, just dump those two to the trash can.
I got the Foch 155 from a black market sale (iirc), and prior to the HE change I would take it out once in a while, now with HE nerf ... it hardly leaves the garage. The regular AP just seemed too random, so haven't tried that lately.
Just picked up the Foch 155. Think I'm in love - but 12,000 bonds? OUCH.

Have both love both. But the Foch 155 for me is Bounty Vents optics and bounty IA. Makes all the difference having .3 acc
They honestly didnt need to remove the 155. I never understood why. Just nerf the clip size. And add the 120mm as an option
The 155 didn't even needed any nerfs. Rng screws you enough even if you're having a good game.
Back when foch 155 and fv215b 183 were getting took out of the game I only had time to finish one line and i went for the 183. Kinda wish I would’ve went for the foch just because it’s different.
155 is the best, no premium rounds needed. B needs full premium to be playable at anything but close distance in tire X MM.

Nah, 155 is an embodiment of pain. It misses fully aimed, bounces from 90deg. Plates and gets eaten up by tracks on a regular basis.

Jg. Pz. E100 has 420 HEAT, but I think 395 pen is 2nd and a few td's got that.

257 mm pen is good at tier 10 imo. The E5 and S conq have 258 and 259 mm pen respectively and it works very well. But for a TD which should be supporting and sniping, especially for a tank like the foch b, that can not perform as a breakthrough tank except in specific circumstances, 257 is too lack luster at distance which the foch is shooting at most of the time.
I have 63% winrate with Foch B, 47% winrate with Foch 155. That should tell all lol.
Not unless you have like 20K battles in each.
@@SanguineMalcontent nah, 100/200 is just enough, in 20k battles you could lived a full life lol, break ur arm or get dementia, then ur winrate lowers.
@@prozac5314 200 most definitely is not enough. I have over 200 battles in my FCM 50t. (47%, 1600 DMG) and Pilot (46.7%, 1560), an others from when I was a decent player with ~55% WR meanwhile I have 54% in my T28 Proto (1460 DMG) and 52.8% in my RHM (1560 DMG), and a 50% in my T28 with 100 DMG, all of these games played in the same era of Wot 2-4 years prior to 1.0.
@@prozac5314 20K is an exaggeration, 10K only slightly, you need thousands of battles to discount randomness unless the tank is particularly OP (Bobject, Chieftan, 279, 430U et al.)

I'm a big Foch 155 fan just for the meme value. If you can pull off a 5k game you feel like a god.
AMX 155 have 3x750 and reload betwen shells is 4-5s and if you miss or ding one shell...its big problem...and if you miss one of 6 from Foch B,its not big problem

I like 155 because of big penetration. Foch B just cant hit all clip many times so that's big clip is ussles.

@Ignasle you are right. vk is good, pz 7 is just a bit better than type 5. E100 with small gun > Vk > 60tp > Maus >>>>>>>>>>>>> Pz 7 > type 5

Our foch t10 just has both gun variations, no need for two tanks.
I just reseached Foch B and have only few battles in 155 so idk.. but I liked the tier 7 hated 8 and love the tier 9. :D

I love the 155 and I kinda hate the B version. Most likely because the 6 shells just do not have enough penetration on the standard rounds.

Yeah tier 8, 9 and 10 have same gun. 325 mm pen for something thst should be assault tank is trash
I like the gameplay of it but I agree, in T9 and specially T10 you are forced to use gold rounds, which sucks being T10 games quite expensive already

i have foch 155 and when you pen every 3 shots it was so calm down for my mind like relax for me and so much funny :D and on the end of the battle when you came to the garage sometimes angry message waiting for you :D still if you have battle when you go to garage with 0 dmg or 1 shot penetrate only and waiting 46s two times that can get angry you so and when you looks credits like -80k or more this can get me really angry :D
I love how noone is considering removing them like how they are way stronger then WT auf E100 in armor+speed+camo+acurracy+aim time wise while having almost the same damage
Need buff on foch 155 about accuracy. 3 shell 1 hit 1 miss 1 bounce after 45 sec reload kinda painfully. So I prefer foch b 6 shell include its able to play aggressively on heavy tanks or others.

Haven't played this game for six months now and I see nothing much has changed, hitting where you aim still is a roll of the dice.....
I have 47% win rate with Foch B and 57% with Foch 155 so yeah, if you play the 155 aggressively with teammates supporting you or aggressively and you know when to pullback it pays off nicely, Foch B is meh it just sucks cause of the 257 pen.
Foch B more flexible. HOWEVER! ..for the memes! its more fun playing the Foch 155.. just something about being able to 2 shot someone, turn around and finish off someone who thought they could get a free kill. Thing is, I don't try to snipe with a 155.. its pointless. I instead make sure I can brawl with it and support.

@@adamvas5164 actually they changed it to an autoloader. and now it has faster intraclip reload of 8 seconds instead of 10. they also buffed the accuracy and the clip reload is only 18 seconds long despite it having 1900 damage per clip. and 1300 damage per clip with AP rounds

FOCH B is much better than 155, but you have to play on full gold. On APs 155 is better
