    This is a fantastic tip. I bought hangers right away and they work brilliantly! Also, I use an old pillow case to cover the finished ones. I cut a small hole for the hook and then gently pull the pillow case over the hanger.

    Thanks! I have some on hangers, some like DAC still in boxes and some in a plastic artists folder that I bought on Amazon. Have been working from my stash & not shopping much. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe, health & well.

    I store mine in an artist's portfolio. I guess it must be A1 size. Both finished & to be done. At some point I will probably outgrow that & have one of each, but for now one works.

    Have you thought of doing another craft room tour now that you do diamond paintings? I would love an update 😊

    How do you manage to get them to lay flat not curl up while you are making the diamond art painting .

    I use hangers as well. I use them for my completed paintings that I haven’t framed yet. My new ones go under our mattress.

    Been thinking on using this idea for my paintings. Both for those I have yet to start and for those I have done but not been able to frame and so ^^

    I store my diamond painting in 2 art folders one which is for my finished diamond paintings and the other art folder for my unstarted diamond paintings. They lay flat and i keep the art folders under my bed. At least in the art folder I know that no dust or dirt can get on them and definitely no pet hair will get on them. I did think about using the trousers hangers but I was worried about how much weight would they be able to hold with the finished diamond paintings. Also with the special diamonds paintings I was worried about hanging them up as we all know that sometimes they have excess glue which is still exposed even though all the diamonds are in place and especially when I have pets and their pet hair gets everywhere even though we vacuum clean at least once a day.

      I must admit, I use an art folder for my completed, but these are great for my todos as I can go through smaller ones quite quick.

    I store mine in an A1 art folder so the don’t get dusty or damaged.

      I have my completed in an art folder, but this is quick and easy for my todo paintings.

    Yes, great idea. I’ve seen a few people that hang their’s, but I haven’t tried it. Do you happen to remember how long it took to get your order from Fansells? I placed an order with them on 4/18, but never got a confirmation, and haven’t heard if they were shipped yet. I did get a credit for 2 paintings that were no longer in stock, but that’s it.

      Mine took about 3 weeks from shipping though I know some can be quicker or longer. It's a bad time for post at the moment.

    My daughter peeled all of the plastic cover off and now when she is trying to finish the painting the drills are coming off. Is there any way to seal the painting when it's finished so the drills can't fall off?

      I have sealed some of mine in the past. I've got a video on it here: addmorezest.com/diamondpainting/tips

    Just a little warning, if you hang them up for an extended period of time, the canvas not glued WILL discolor. Personal experience of having hung a few for more than 12 months!

      @addmorezest  4 года назад

      Oo, thanks. I've not had one hung that long, but I will bear it in mind.

    Hi random question but are all the colours in each painting the same for instance is F 14 the same in every pack. Just starting to do them and just wanted to know for packing etc. Ty x

      Some will have DMC numbers and they are similar, but often shading can be a little different. I use the diamonds that come with the paintings but put my spares together.
