This is what i ve been thinking of for very long. An update to fight monsters/zombies or a game during modern zombie apocalypse that has fh inspired combat and you go as an armored medieval grunt crushing bones while everyone is dressed in stupid casual outfits and stresses over handgun bullets and expired canned dog food to survive. If something like hito or shugoki were teleported into the walking dead they would just delete city hordes.
The fact that techland pulled back and ended up securing dying light 2 in a place like this after the initial backlash just shows the pure dedication they show along with the fact that they don’t give up on games.
I can't wait how DL2 will become in 3-4 years. I hope it will end up looking like e3 (New places, New weapons that actually look good, New enemy variants, Better ai, Better sounds (Like walking, dismembering, etc), Better Blood, Better animations, More story and story getting fixed, Making nights more balanced and rewarding (Reduce volatiles but make them smart and make night loots rewarding, Etc.

So really all that’s left is to play the broken shitty nonsensical story or just jump around slashing zombies which only holds about 20 minutes of play time before it gets repetitive.
There's like five moves per weapon type + bows and crossbows + takedowns + they're adding pole arms and firearms, I don't understand what you're on about. If you're referring to For Honors animations then that wouldn't work anyway, that game is made for flashy wide moves to give other players time to react, in DL2 the character is supposed to be more crude and minimalistic with simple but effective attacks, and there's also the difference between how the player perceives hit boxes in first person compared to third person. The event is great though, it tends to become crazy on coop because sometimes they spawn in groups and it legit looks like a game of deathmatch👌

@@Retro-InkThey are in fact reskinned renegades. New attacks doesn’t mean anything. They reskin enemies all the time 😂. They did it with the “something big has been here quest line” reskinned goons in that case. They even have the same voice lines.

Hello Techland One idea came to my mind to diversify the idea related to firearms. When you add firearms, you can also add a weapon jam system like in real life, and you can also add the obligation to maintain these weapons to reduce the number of weapon jams and keep the weapon in a condition that allows it to be used. And if the player did not maintain this weapon, over time the weapon would start to break down and jam very often, which would result in, for example, worse accuracy and, in the worst case, the weapon would be unusable. And you could also add accessories such as optical sights, sound silencers, etc. Of course, each accessory would have advantages and weaknesses that could affect the condition of our firearms. For example, using a sound suppressor would require more frequent cleaning of the weapon. If you can, please consider my idea.

I do think this is a amazing idea and collaboration, but it feels kind of rushed and not to much thought went into it and it seems to be the case for the new events too or in general. I would have waited till next year after the seasonal events, and new updates so you have more time to think about more innovative fun end game play.
@@Man3rtann I had a idea of having the PK citadel on top of the hill be a fun big war / battle with all types of enemies and you need to pick a side or go solo and try to win the war and in the end you can loot the Cassel for Legendary or higher loot but there are buff bosses inside that you need to kill and grab a key from them in order to open the terser room.
Halloween event should be the standard, was excited for this event but its just another half chucked together attempt to keep players attention. There isnt much to do for people who are at endgame. The rewards are lame for this event too, should have given us the option to pick which of the three for honour sets as the event reward. No one wants the berserker and yet another axe

This is a pretty fun event. I've been out of the game for a while. This is a great way to polish my fighting skills again. These are easily the toughest human npcs in the game. Good job Techland.

Is this game worth playing again. Buddy and i played dying light and the DLC through maybe 10 or more times. We played through DL2 once and never picked it back up..just felt underwhelming from story to world engagement. Unfortunate.
Sadly there's no unique music that plays when fighting the warriors. And the warden bundle please for the love of God could they make Aiden's voice sound like he's wearing the mask it will feel immersive to the outfit. Same with the Rahim outfit they could have just made Aiden sound more infected while having it equipped it would be unique. But I guess I'm asking to much.
All right look I have not played dying light 2 since June of last year so I’m gonna try to give the game another another chance, since everyone keeps saying that the game got better, even though I highly doubt it, considering the fact that the last time I played the game that the gameplay was nothing like it was advertised, and it was extremely buggy floaty, and glitchy in general but apparently a lot has changed since then, so I will come back with results Edit: the game redownloaded and I had a little bit of fun messing around with parkour in the first 20 minutes, but the game got really stale after a bit, While I could tell that a lot of the couple thousand bugs that I did experience before, were not there, the game just felt empty to me and with not much to do I didn’t really have much of a reason to keep the game installed any longer
I hope the developers add some kinda of tower raids in the next event I have skipped many event including this one because of the lack of content if any dying light 2 developers see this I’ve asked for tower raids for a year straight and got nothing if the next event is not. A tower raid or some kinda of missions to play I am uninstalling because at this points dying light 2 is just taking storage up on my ps5

depends on if they're immune or not. If they aren't immune they can't even fight them at all except Warden with all the armor they've got on.

@@htmn_2Lol yeah and the fact they had to inject the trailer mission into the game as the “last mission” just to make sure they couldn’t be sued for basically blatantly false advertising is just funny. It doesn’t even make sense, you can tell that mission was supposed to be the middle of the game not the end of it and they tried to jury rig it in there.

Is this game worth playing again. Buddy and i played dying light and the DLC through maybe 10 or more times. We played through DL2 once and never picked it back up..just felt underwhelming from story to world engagement. Unfortunate.

Sadly there's no unique music that plays when fighting the warriors.
And the warden bundle please for the love of God could they make Aiden's voice sound like he's wearing the mask it will feel immersive to the outfit.
Same with the Rahim outfit they could have just made Aiden sound more infected while having it equipped it would be unique. But I guess I'm asking to much.

All right look I have not played dying light 2 since June of last year so I’m gonna try to give the game another another chance, since everyone keeps saying that the game got better, even though I highly doubt it, considering the fact that the last time I played the game that the gameplay was nothing like it was advertised, and it was extremely buggy floaty, and glitchy in general but apparently a lot has changed since then, so I will come back with results
Edit: the game redownloaded and I had a little bit of fun messing around with parkour in the first 20 minutes, but the game got really stale after a bit, While I could tell that a lot of the couple thousand bugs that I did experience before, were not there, the game just felt empty to me and with not much to do I didn’t really have much of a reason to keep the game installed any longer

I hope the developers add some kinda of tower raids in the next event I have skipped many event including this one because of the lack of content if any dying light 2 developers see this I’ve asked for tower raids for a year straight and got nothing if the next event is not. A tower raid or some kinda of missions to play I am uninstalling because at this points dying light 2 is just taking storage up on my ps5

I thought This would be a for honor event like with assassins creed and dead by daylight. I mean this is a cool concept I just don’t like seeing these historic characters in a game set in current times but still pretty cool nonetheless.
Dying light 2 and Assasins creed Odyssey collab is better or even with Dark Souls, fighting undead and Souls Bosses.

The For Honor Event isn't showing for me, is anyone else having similar issues with this event not showing in the game main menu or in the game itself? tried verifying the game files on Epic each time I quit out the game at the end of each of my gaming sessions.
