Spain should of got 2 reds, well UEFA didn't let Croatia to win
Modrić destroyed that Xavi Iniesta midfield area, GOATED. Referees just didn't see that coming so they did the dirty job, but Modrić signed with Real Madrid after the tournament.

This Spain in 2012 were much better than todays Spain and yet they struggled to beat Croatia. At 86 miutes Corluka should have got a penalty for Croatia. With VAR the penalty would have been given 100% unless the referees are bought which they propably would have been.

Luka Modrich destroying the Spanish golden midfield generation, like they were children around him, falling around him.... C'mon man ... Pathetic!!! what is pathetic is to contest a match result 12 years later there may have been refereeing errors which favored Spain but it happens to all the teams on the goal saying it was offside it is not being objective the goal was valid Fabregas passes to Iniesta who was not offside and Iniesta passes the last Croatian defenders there is therefore no more offside when Navas scores

I don't see why there is so much controversy apart from Busquets who brutally pushes the players but otherwise the first tackle is slightly outside the penalty area there is no penalty that said giving a yellow to the Croatian I am not for no more

It is CRIMINAL for anyone to ever claim that Iniesta or Xavi are on Modric level, let alone better than him. Modric is on a completely different level and he has proved it over and over over a decade. Modric single handedly outplayed Spain and their entire midfield. Such a tragedy his teammates let him down in such a big way. They robbed him of such a magical, out of this world assist I want to break my phone. What more could he have done?
