- Todd Tuckey got in trade this 1975 Bally BOW AND ARROW Pinball Machine made in 1975. It was pretty filthy and we found one of the kickout holes covered over--but the hole worked fine when we removed the duct tape "Fix"!
Twin boys Axel and Jake came in to volunteer today and we put them right to work! Good customer CHUCK came and brought us the famous DUCK DONUTS too! And our Canadian friend and great customer MARC is on the phone with us too, while we sample some of fan Michael O'Cain's coffee he sent to us!
What will we find inside this old machine today? This machine is now sold BTW!

Greetings from germany. I watched many of your videos but as i am totally into EM (although i am born in 1967 and grew up with EE) pinball it is cool to see you standing there and explaining a "Bow and Arrow" EM Game to the boys and the camera man. In my opinion this machine must have crossed 100 k at least one time. Games under 100 k normally don't have such great areas of worn playfield. Back in those days when it was on location it was played to death and i think that a bad operator put the tape in the upper left hole because you know that this is THE saucer where to get the big points over and over again. All in all a not that easy to maintain machine - especially the complex Bonus Unit is tricky. Unbelievable that the crossing switch in your machine was broken, too. Now that we have August 2023 i recently overhauled this machine for a good guy who brought it to me. And exactly this switch had been broken, too. Luckily i had this part in a "Schlachtgerät". Yeah. Keep on rockin' - and especially keep healthy! (Did you know that almost EVERY Bally EM Pinball for the german market was not fitted with the Chime Unit? Reason why: the pub owners totally freaked out because of the NOISE!). Very difficult and expensive to get one here in "Deutschland".

I love your video here, and I have this exact pinball machine with the exact same problem with the bonus ball kickout. I'll admit that I'm a novice as far as these machines go. But I'm learning day by day. I don't have a schematics for this machine and I'm trying to fix it so I'm not forced to be that guy with the duct tape and papertowels!!!!
I checked the relay that pulls in to activate the kickout and it still works it seems that the switch that controls the contacts to send power to that really is not getting power. And that is where I need help. Could you give a guy a hand????
Was the time delay to keep the tilt from immediately registering? In other words to allow some abuse, just not "unnecessary" abuse?
I have Bow and Arrow but it doesn’t have the chimes?!
