I use to live by Lake St. Clair, I did realize it had a Shipping Canal Way. I only thought of it as a lake between two large lakes Lake Huron & Lake Erie connected with two wide rivers the St Clair River and The Detroit River. That's interesting!
Prolly not a “ship wreck” there are very old lake freighters, wood mostly, all over commercial harbor’s of the Great Lakes with off channel marshy areas where they were shoved into to retirement and rott away
Harlow Loran built & commissioned 1891-1926 , 154' was intentionally sunk as a break wall in 1926.
Great shots been running middle channel for years just learned of this a couple days ago
Ahh yes. The great storm of 1987. According to legend, waves in the Middle Channel were 3 feet that night.
It's about time someone appreciated this comment lol.

That water didn't look like that in the sixties when I was a kid. You could pickup the Mercury Balls floating on top. Not that I ever did. Wink Wink
That certainly is a big boat I hope you rescued the drone 👍👍
Very cool video!!
Wow! I had no idea this was there!
Water looks pretty
Looks like the drone is about to end up in the water at the end.
good eye, it actually did drop in the water. Shipwreck and drone wreck.
There’s no sound at all.
I re-loaded the video twice…no narration.

Best its been is 75mph
How old is this shipwreck? I used to fish the middle channel years ago, and I don't recall ever seeing this or even hearing about it.
