I have heard that CB was one of the nicest people you would ever meet
Edit I love when Greg Feith is on these show's. He explains everything so people like us can understand.
The fact that they somehow managed to get this wreck to the ground safely, with no further loss of life, is an amazing display of this crews supreme airmanship

Thjs may be a rerun but aren't we glad there are not more plane crashes

I did like this rerun, makes you wonder how many of these old bird's are still being flown, after the max year's theh should be used. Probably got sold to a crooked airline, in a crooked country. Those 80 year old plane's on that buffalo airlines show are always having stuff break or leak in spo many episodes, it's just a matter of time before they have a fatal crash. They don't make parts for those plane's anymore, and the parts are old and stressed to. I don't fly, if i can't drive to a place, i just don't go. G-d bless.

Flying with half the roof torn off. That was real scary for the passengers and crew. But miraculously the pilots were able to land the plane safely. Rest in peace to the one flight attendant. She'll never be forgotten.

I just new into Mayday series (just since 3 months ago). I feel that 1st phase / older episodes are more emotional, the emotional part and the technical analysis part are equal, while in the newer episodes are more technical oriented. isn't it? Or it just me. Some audiences may found Mayday are too dramatic so they prefer watching independent air accident YT channels like TheFlightChannel / Disaster Breakdown / Mentour Pilot / etc. But for me both Mayday and these YT channels are doing great providing aviation incident knowledge. It just about personal preferences, right.
I always love to saw the positive & miraculous outcome. RIP for CB Lansing and her contribution will never forgotten. Her name is always be remembered in the book of aviation history. One love...

They made a movie regarding this incident. It was titled Miracle Landing

The flight attendant who was asking people if they could fly a plane, must have been oxygen deprived, because that plane would have crashed had no one been flying. This is a re run, watched it a couple month's back. This channel needs to get new segments. G-d bless everyone.

@@matttim5095 there was no ILS/auto-landing at Kahoolui at the time, nor did the 737 have that capability. This was an earlier generation of 737, prior to the NG and the MAX. Cheers!

They made a great movie about this incident, Miracle Landing. As far as I can tell they did a great job of recreating this event. Done with compassion and keeping to the truth of the event.
