On the rare occasion they are mechanical, they use basic Swiss movements from watches you can find in the £400 price bracket such as Tissot. The kind of brands the guy in the video would laugh at because "his Gucci watch is superior". Gucci watches have pretty much no collectible value and depreciate massively. You can find them on the used market cheap because of the fact they are massively overpriced in the first place. I've personally experienced uneducated watch snobs like at the end of the video and I combat their arrogance with education when they take the piss out of my vintage Swiss pieces. Those "boring Rolex watches" hold their value very well because they were handcrafted in house and are good quality.
