  • A lot of people on my travels, raved about Exmouth and snorkelling the Ningaloo Reef so I had to have a look. Considering it was school holidays, I was fortunate enough to score a few different camping spots within Cape Range National Park including Neds, Kurrajong & Yardie Creek Campgrounds.
The weather was exceptional so spending most of my time down the beach snorkelling was an obvious choice. It's definitely a unique area and there's not many places around Oz you can access the reef straight off the beach and see turtles, sharks, octopus and rays in abundance. I enjoyed snorkelling at Lakeside, Oysters Stacks (only open on certain high tides) and Osprey Bay to name a few.
There's also some stunning beaches at Turquoise Bay and Sandy Bay which were also ideal for kayaking. Yardie Creek is also a great place for a paddle with rock wallabies along the cliff face as well as ospreys and eagles.
The scenic drive into Charles Knife Canyon just south of Exmouth is breathtaking and is a great spot for sunrise or sunset.
Once again, I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
