That's a beautiful gun correction rifle. I got to shoot one when I lived in Ellijay Georgia, someone had sporterized it but it still shot pretty good actually I was using it for deer hunting and bagged one. The action on that thing that looked smooth and it doesn't kick quite as bad as the 45-70, beautiful weapon. Have a great day stay safe and keep your powder dry!
Thanks, Terry! Even tho it was built between 1950-52 I don’t think it had been shot much at all. Still had cosmolene in the chamber, bolt, front sight, etc.. all serial numbers match. It’s a fun little rifle, for sure.
Oh sweet!! I’ve several hundred pieces of 8mm brass so hopefully I won’t need to learn THAT new skill. I did, however, get a bullet mold and a couple thousand gas checks!
@@mcschneiveoutdoors3681 Gotcha. Centerfire has Turk 8mm and that Greek stuff has recently been imported. That’s the only affordable 8mm I see around. Therefore, I was wondering if it was either of those two
@@DireAvenger001 awesome. Thanks for the info. Since I’m a reloader I gathered up everything I need to bake my own. Just haven’t got around to it. Actually thinking about getting rid of the rifle and all!

Nice rifle, I've got a Yugo 24/47, it's very similar. I load my own shells for it. I've even formed brass for it with 30 06 brass. 👍

@@mcschneiveoutdoors3681 Should be awesome with cast loads.
@@RickNethery I’ve made up 30 or so. Can’t wait to try them out!
sweet!
Thanks, my friend!
What 8mm ammo did you use?
Just a mix of stuff I picked up. No idea what it is.
