Kyle, I’m a 31 year old father of four boys. If I could give you any advice I would give you the same advice I would want to give to my children. Turn that room into a crafting room for yourself to make things. You thrive on hand-eye coordination type of hobbies, clearly your great at video games, it can coordinate into real life by picking up a craft. Something simple that you could have simple tools for and a nice open table/working bench. Get some nice lighting, get some nice hand tools and figure out what you like making. Most men need a hobby other than “self help” hobbies. We are descendants of men who carved the world into what it is today. Take some pride in that and pay homage to your family by picking up a fun useful hobby. Make wood carving, or leather making, or epoxy sealing, sculpting, pottery. Whatever tickles your fancy! But I wouldn’t be the man I am today if I didn’t pick up a hammer and learn to also carve the world. It’s a vigorous feeling when you create something useful. I challenge you to think differently on this one. It would be nice to see and you’ll have a bunch of fans and young men picking up this habit as well because of you. To make your home more homely I would suggest you to buy a lot of different plants. Big plants in big areas and small plants in the windows or smt like that. Having plants for me has really helped my growth (funny right) And I generally just think it's a good form of diciplinary thing to have, to treat them right and make sure that they get the most out of the sunlight and the things you treat it with. Plants are also really good for your eyes and the air quality in generel.
keep it minimalist, it suits you man. transitions are on point. maybe a nice book nook would fit upstairs, revolving circle chair and a nice lamp. or maybe put closets in the spare room. also you need more tat, but that come with time moving in 😂
