I go by that truck stop on hwy 72 often. That one doesn’t get full often which is good. They hold you up on the showers because they know shower facilities are scarce as it is about the only thing going in that area.
Last year our company got hired to pressure wash an oil drilling rig in Nevada, it took us 5 or 6 days and those 15$ hot showers were the best part of the day, i would've paid 20$ no problem
I'm getting better at finding the little truck stops. Found one with a $5 shower and another one about 50 miles away that was $10. Not the nicest of showers, but I assume every shower is nasty and act accordingly. I like how they double teamed and got you loaded. Some of my loads they use forklifts with double sets of forks that grabs two stacks of pallets side by side.

Then the new owners It was called Cowboys and Adairsville 76 When It got bought it out they called it cowboy's truck stop a Citgo. I spent many a night in that truck Stop. Had a hell of a good restaurant best food in the state on I-75. The new owners kept all the employees so it didn't change much till the late 90s and a husband n wife truck drivers bought it and changed everything and let it fall apart. Was a great stop back in the day and ALWAYS stayed full in the restaurant.
Back in the 80's T/A would give you a shower coupon valid for 3 days after fueling and we had so many we would holler on the CB if anyone had a ticket and you would get about 5 replys . And they were free no one charged you.
Be carefull around those lifts. A guy here in maryland was killed when he drove off the trailer and was catapulted 30ft thru the air. Always use safety belts!

FYI, not sure you know that every articulating piece of equipment you haul has or should have a forged steel pin that fits in a round hole that reasures the equipment will not articulate by accident. If not pinned your first DOT inspection will kindly cite you as its the law to be pinned while transporting. Also what you are hauling now is called a manlift while the ones with forks are called material handlers. When home take some time to go play in the garage with your Mustang before it becomes of no interest.

That dump valve is a life saver in many situations. I used mine religiously
