One deleted scene that I think should've been reinstated was from Doomsday; just after Jackie and the parallel Earth Pete ran to each other, hugging, there was a scene involving Rose also hugging them while Mickey and The Doctor comment on how the world was still ending because of the Daleks and the Cybermen. I rather liked it because the scene in the broadcast episode already showed that Jackie and Pete had got each other back, but now Rose had got her family back too.
Totally agree that both scenes showing, or referring to Clara should have been left in. The one with 11 would have helped build up more their relationship/ friendship which had too little time to get established in series 7B. The other paying tribute to her in The Pilot whould have honored her but alo have shown that the had forgotten her even more than he did in Hell Bent since he could no longer remeber why he wrote that song. Clara haters would have gotten upset saying Clara was finally gone, stop bringing her back, but it would have been a nice nod to her to have left in in. The one where 12 visits Alshida during the plague after she has lost all her children would have helped with giving more empathy towards her character while also showing that the Doctor did actually check in on her from time to time and didn't just totally abonadon her in the past. It would have made the both of them seem somewhat better upon further reflection.
The plague doctor one is interesting, because there was a running theme of the Doctor secretly checking in on companions but not interfereing in Davies' and Moffat's runs. (Chibnall threw this in the toilet with his weird support group, but whatever.) Him checking in on Ashilda, seemingly doing so only to make sure she's okay, really builds upon that theme of the Doctor actually caring about his companions after they leave him.
Never understood why people hate Clara. And after watching Donnas run I'm just even more confused. A lot of people say that Clara always seemed like she thought she was better than the doctor but Donna is far worse in that aspect always yelling at him and a lot of the time it doesn't even seem like Donna actually likes the doctor since she keeps insulting and yelling when he does something that she thinks is wrong. Clara and the doctor were clearly friends and liked spending tiem with eachother. And Clara actually tried to help the doctor become a better person.
“Far more than just another Timelord” was included in the international cuts, as the tapes had been posted out before the decision to cut the line was made
The Doctor was clearly still thinking about Clara when he wanted to wipe Bill's mind, and playing her theme would have been a nice touch. Despite the memory wipe, he could never truly forget her.
I always thought there was enough of a hint about the Doctor's origins in Remembrance as it was. Specifically, after telling Ace about how Omega created the supernova that was the power source for the Gallifreyan's time travel exeriments (see The Three Doctors), omega left Rassilon his "remote stellar manipulator", dubbed the Hand of Omega. He even admitted, "...and didn't we have trouble with the prototype," before correcting himself to an unsubtle "they", suggesting the Doctor was present during the formative years of Time Lord society.
Murray Gold's theme for Clara is just so good. The Doctor may have been made to forget Clara, but not that song. I still play the track from the BBC Proms. It brings peace and reminds me of Jenna Coleman's performances. Clara was much more than just a companion; something that could be explored in the future.
Ohhhhh the last two I had absolutely no idea about! I love the idea of the Doctor and Donna returning to see Agatha Christie at the end of her life, it's wonderful but I feel it would have detracted from what really is an excellent story. As for the Doctor appearing as a Plague Doctor watching over eshielder (probably spelt completely wrong!) , that really would have greatly filled out background there, it felt like he'd given her immortality then just left her to it. Fabulous compilation 😊
I think this would have been overdoing it. At risk of offending Donna fans, I think RTD overdosed on Donna. She is guven credit for "saving the universe" when it was Rose who left her safe parallel universe to cross who knows how many dangers to warn the Doctor. Donna gets to be the hero without doing heroic stuff because she messed with the Doctor's hand (accidentally) and gets Doctor powers (accidentally.) Never once did you see Rose freak out at the sight of "aliens" or bossing everyone around like the bigshot running everything.
You should have included the scene from the 11th's tenure where River appears wearing just a smile and a wink. It was considered to be too racy for a "kid's show" (complex storylines that take a whole season to play out is a kid's show?) It only showed her from the shoulders up, for crying out loud.
I get that he had forgotten her but not having any nods to Clara in season 10 was just really sad. Having the doctor play her theme in the bar would have shown us that she is still in his mind somewhere.
They did say Clara got spread all throughout the doctors timeline, so she could show up in an episode with a future doctor, right? Unless I'm mis-remembering
Think it was the time line up to that point and not later. I.E not without the extra regenerations and having stopped the fall. Just an unexplained paradox.
I liked Clara as well. I like to think the Time Lords uploaded her mind in the Matrix of Gallifrey and was reloomed as a Shobogan. She did have a Gallifreyan duplicate encouraging the first Doctor to take the TARDIS with bad navigation. And what happened to Ashilder? What’s her ending?
That's something that the BBC should do, use 21st century budgets to reshoot lost episodes, they could cast with look a likes and have slight CGI augmentation to match the faces closer to the original actors. Although in David Bradley's case I don't feel that would be necessary because he is a pretty convincing 1st Doctor anyway. That would be awesome!
With rickston’s vone I had genuinely never even thought about it until I watched this video I guess I just assumed it broke when the ship was hit by meteors. They could’ve just shown him throw it away clearly broken on screen in the background of another shot in a show don’t tell moment too. That would’ve solved the issue of giving us the info without padding the runtime unduly really easily actually.
My wife and I have and continue to find it strange that people thought 12 and Clara had any chemistry with each other. 11 and Clara were a much better fit, and the Clara character was the worse for not getting more time with 11. This isn't meant as a mark against 12, eventually, he became one of my top 3 Doctors, but I think he really came into his stride with Bill and Nardole as his companions.
Would like to see another Agtha connection to another character Kate Stawet, I recall Kates father saying once he was related to Agtha Christe. Think she was an aunt or great aunt? Something he quoted to the three doctor from one of stories I think?
In a show that seems to love the idea of jumping on any new Merch oppertunites it seems weird if for no other reason than that that the Plague Doctor got cut!
The reincarnation of the Other? Isn't that what the Timeless Child essentially ended up doing. Making the doctor and her ability to regenerate the foundation of Timelord Society.
The fact that 90s Who fans ate up all the Other/Looms/Lungbarrow business, then turned around and rejected the entire Timeless Child concept out of hand is kinda funny to me. I'm not fond of either idea, but they really aren't far off from one another.
@@elianas1121 I actually can relate to what happened with the Timeless Child. It basically portrays the Doctor as the victim of child abuse since she basically had an abusive parent. That's what happened to me when i was growing up. My dad, whose been dead for the last six years, was at times abusive. He had a temper, he would smash things when he was angry. He even took a knife out when mom ran out on night after a fight. She eventually came back. But at the time he was upset. I had to talk him down before anything happened. That's essentially what happened with the doctor.
OK, I can see how people may compare The Timeless Child with The Cartmel Masterplan (maybe Chibnal decided to use it as the basis for what he did), but they actually aren't; Andrew Cartmel has actually gone on record to say that they're not the same, while The Cartmel Masterplan was meant to add some mystery back into the show with a few hints (unlike The Timeless Child which created a huge retcon that Chibnal may not have any interest in continuing).
When it comes to the vone/phone scene, I think it would have raised more problems as the doctor can make early 2000s mobile phones able to phone anywhere in space and time.
I don’t hate Clara, but I do feel that she out stayed her welcome. I personally feel Clara’s arc should have ended with the death of Danny Pink. Now, she’s just another loose end that will likely stay unresolved.

But my all time greatest deleted scene i.e. the one that shouldn’t have been cut more than any other, in my opinion is the “Chunk of Tardis” from Journeys End. RTD said that “in his head this still happened” so to me, it did, and it is Canon and Rose is with her Doctor who she calls Corin I think, or maybe John travelling the universe together forever. Maybe even truly truly forever. Maybe the Meta-Crisis Doctor and Rose are now both time lords because maybe Gallifrey never got destroyed in Pete’s world? But yeah, that’s my number one outtake.
I love doctor who, and dont underarand the click bait, you coukd have just as easily shown us a picture of the 12th doctor and an arrow pointing at the guitar, would have clicked the video just as fast
This done by bad wold productions as you should know, Russell is fully in charge the BBC and Disney will broadcast it for all audiences and it needs to be simple for casual viewers. I like the hard dark stories from the past but it is all about the money. Jodie was fine and as soon as I got used to her they replace her with Ncuti.
Regarding number 3:- I am SPECTACULARLY not a fan of Clara and think her story should have ended with "Last Christmas" (an otherwise awful special that was originally a send off for the character, but I digress) but I do love Murray Gold's music and Capaldi playing the Guitar was a wonderful quirk that needed to happen more often.
I love doctor who. I can't wait for November 25. I'm still angry that they $^ed up the first female doctor. Poor Jodie never got a decent script with any meat in it. I would have loved to see what she could have done. I started with 9 and have since gone back and watched most of what is available. So many ups and downs. Happy the show is still going. I love every doctor.
Trying to take notes with cold-stiffened fingers is a chore (the heater's not on, it's not my house, the situation is... complex). But I'll do what I can. I'd love to see all of these deleted scenes, even if separated from their source episodes, just like the ones from the other video, except: I am not a fan of "more than just another Timelord" or the Timeless Child storyline. If it were up to me, the Doctor would be just another Timelord, but special because he/she/they is/are the Doctor, and then NEVER EXPLAIN THAT. Maybe throw in that he was an engineer responsible for the Type 40 TARDIS, thus explaining why the First Doctor always insisted that it was his invention. I was reminded of this recently when I saw an excerpt from Matt Smith's farewell scene. He speaks of the Doctor (himself?) as if he were a separate entity before sneezing into Peter Capaldi. I have an idea, but I think me trying to explain it would likely max out the internet's memory capacity. I think I've said this before, and I'm sure I'm not the only one: Kamelion could easily return now, with modern effects. It might take a bit to explain where he's been all this time. But I think it could be interesting. Well, that's all I could think of, without notes. Thanks for all the recent videos. Helps to keep us occupied until the big 60th. However - I just found out that the Tales of the TARDIS will only be available in the UK, with no news on when or if they will ever be made available anywhere else. So if you hear those boos, it's just me and Sean razzing you Brits from our foreign lands.
Always appreciate your comments Michael, thanks for the support! And yeah Sean’s losing his mind with all this will it/won’t it be available. Very frustrating. Hope you manage to warm up soon! 🥶
Also, just watched the deleted “detour” scene and it so should’ve been included, not as good as Journey’s end, chunk of Tardis but it’s good! And the “Long way home” part is so similar to “the long way round” it would’ve made for some awesome foreshadowing and fan service fpr Heaven Sent & Hell Bent.
Are you sure Sly’s, “I’m so much more than just a Time Lord” wasn’t used in another of his stories? I swear I have seen that in an episode - possibly the one where he is mistaken for Merlin?. Sadly, I cannot check, as I am in Australia, and we have no (legal) access to Classic Doctor Who at present, AFAIK. Cheers,
I dont really care about the Doctor's wardrobe (I'm colorblind, which doesn't help), but the Doctor in plague garb is interesting. I would have enjoyed seeing many of the mentioned scenes in their respective episodes.
Where can we watch these deleted scenes? In fact where can we watch ALL DELETED SCENES? I can alwys use more Dr Who, especially right now as here in Canada it was moved off CRAVE in January 2023 , and onto Disney plus. What a crappy move IMO. I signed up for CRAVE specifically for Dr Who in 2019, and have no interest at all in Disney plus. It seems like a kids channel with a few extra trimmings, and as I am neither a kid nor have a kid rather superfluous to requirements, given that I also have Netflix,Amazon , CRAVE, CBC GEM and History Hit plus of course RUclips. I will grudgingly subscribe for the 60th, and Xmas. Depending on how long till the 15th Dr starts i may keep it till after his 1st season or unsub in between. From all i have heard he is going to be a breath of fresh air after Capaldi and ( shiver in disgust) confused indecisive Jodie and her "fam" , so I plan to give him an honest chance much as I will always love and miss 10 and 11. And knowing me I will forget to unsub after lol. But thst of course is what Disney is hoping! 😅
Please do a video about accurate and inaccurate future predictions. You see, a show, so old, probably did episodes about the future, that now is the past. Like in The Enemy Of The World (2nd Doctor), which is set in 2018. For the people of then it was the far unknown future. For our world the past. It was an inaccurate depiction of the future. Are there accurate predictions that went right?
Well… I guess Chibnel made the doctor a god after all. And no… I am not a fan of Clara. I use to think she wasn’t as bad as Donna. But after the 2nd watch I begin to dislike Clara and love Donna a lot.
they didnt have to include 12 playing claras theme in the pilot if they used it at the end of the same episode too. it would feel just slightly over used
Plague Doctore Capaldi would have been awesome! It would have added so much more debth to the history of both the Doctor and Me. That he have actually been checking up on her from time to time.
They should put the DVD or Blu-ray sets where instead of accessing them for a later content, where you can watch as it was originally intended. Either have a broadcast edition or a directors cut.
I am SO confused right now. I have 100% seen this before (fairly recently - maybe weeks/months ago?) and I feel like the whole world is pranking me by pretending they haven't.😖
I'm glad they changed the ending of Journey's End to be a bit more melencholic rather than detracting from the Cybermen showing up, and this is coming from someone who doesn't like Journey's End already. That ending, the tenth Doctor's loneliness setting in, it really helps sell what has happened is tragic.
In new Who. Our Doctor is God with a capital G. Doctor; Pandorica & TARDIS Mother (yes Mother) Child (yes Pandorica is the virgin birthed child of our now former Doctor) and the Holy Ghost (monument; was hit by the "aftermath" of Rassilons final plan in end of Twice upon a time and thus killed and ascended; reason why the TARDIS threw out JW) and then crashed down upon the burning /terraforming Gallifrey, Akhaten, Bysantium crash planet, Ghost monument world etc etc until finally becoming Trenzalore (after being to the end of the whoniverse and back to the start (Not the big bang; "the start" )of the Whoniverse.
PS In the classic Whoniverse our then to become Doctor was at both the birth and death of Jesus for a simple reason. He was his step dad (alongside his original wife; Rassilon) that was the saviour child (in the classic Whoniverse) This stepchild could very very well be the timeless child. (in the classic whoniverse) While our now former Doctor (future? Cause it could be Jenny) virgin birthed child will become the saviour child in the new WHoniverse. The Crown of thorns is the reason for why this above is logical. As River Song died to it. and She was uploaded into becoming the pilot mind of a brand new type of timemachine "RIVERS" in lack of proper name. And the Pandorica is basicly a timemachine without a proper pilot mind. (but that can transverse the void... without timetraveling)
You’ve done it again, do you read these comments, you keep pronouncing Omega incorrectly, can you not get it right, it is really really really really annoying.
I really like when the show focuses on literally anyone other than the doctor and you can spot him in the background just being his goofy self😂

The cybermen look so goofy there. Admit it.
i agree until i think of what happened to bill 😰, they kind of fill me with dread
Some of the old goofy looks are scariesr than modern renditions
I think he means in series 4 in journeys end. 8:06 RTD made the right choice cutting that. It looks goofy AF.
Honestly the cybus design of Cybermen couldn't sneak up on a deaf elephant.
I love finding stuff like this while we wait for the 60th

Trying to take notes with cold-stiffened fingers is a chore (the heater's not on, it's not my house, the situation is... complex). But I'll do what I can.
I'd love to see all of these deleted scenes, even if separated from their source episodes, just like the ones from the other video, except:
I am not a fan of "more than just another Timelord" or the Timeless Child storyline.
Sounds like a list of potential DVD or iPlayer extras. ❤️
Hello.
Cheers,
It was shown in '30 years in the TARDIS'
@@AlmightyCRJ which I do not believe I have seen! Guess I must have seen it on RUclips at some point…
No such programme. There was a 30 years in the Tardis, though.
@@robalexander8065 big fingers, really small keypad.🤣
The line was not removed in many international releases due to timing of the tape distribution. Very likely you did see it.
I dont really care about the Doctor's wardrobe (I'm colorblind, which doesn't help), but the Doctor in plague garb is interesting. I would have enjoyed seeing many of the mentioned scenes in their respective episodes.
How was the scene where Amy and Rory’s adoptive child goes to visit Rory’s dad not on this list 😱
Minisode
It wasn't filmed thus not deleted. It was edited out of the script.
You pronounced Omega wrong, just saying’🤷🏻♂️
Interesting
That Ashilda scene should’ve stayed
Please do a video about accurate and inaccurate future predictions. You see, a show, so old, probably did episodes about the future, that now is the past. Like in The Enemy Of The World (2nd Doctor), which is set in 2018. For the people of then it was the far unknown future. For our world the past. It was an inaccurate depiction of the future. Are there accurate predictions that went right?
We did some accurate predictions earlier this year!

@@WhoCulture Thanks. That was a nice video.
Am I in a time loop? I have seen this before🤔
You have definitely NOT seen this before (unless you have a time machine and can travel to the future)
I am SO confused right now. I have 100% seen this before (fairly recently - maybe weeks/months ago?) and I feel like the whole world is pranking me by pretending they haven't.😖

If you listen to the end of the Journey's End credits, you can hear the Cybermen stomp.
As the Coming Soon trailer for _The Next Doctor,_ yes.
Oh-Meh-Ga, not Oh-Me-Ga 🤦♂️
They need a Classic fan on the team to coach them on such things.
They always delete the best and superior scenes that would had improvised the episode story line .
Yeah, the last one should've stayed in. Reinstate it now!
Was timeless child just another version of the other
So the seventh dr got cancelled before they could do what jodi did
Ok i want to see the 90 minutes cut of twice upon a time... Maybe it would make up for the sexism
The joking sexism? That legit offended you? Wow
The Cardinal master plan is what I always link to when people throw a fit over the timeless child
In new Who. Our Doctor is God with a capital G.
Doctor; Pandorica & TARDIS
Mother (yes Mother)
Child (yes Pandorica is the virgin birthed child of our now former Doctor)
and the Holy Ghost (monument; was hit by the "aftermath" of Rassilons final plan in end of Twice upon a time and thus killed and ascended; reason why the TARDIS threw out JW) and then crashed down upon the burning /terraforming Gallifrey, Akhaten, Bysantium crash planet, Ghost monument world etc etc until finally becoming Trenzalore (after being to the end of the whoniverse and back to the start (Not the big bang; "the start" )of the Whoniverse.
PS
In the classic Whoniverse our then to become Doctor was at both the birth and death of Jesus for a simple reason.
He was his step dad (alongside his original wife; Rassilon) that was the saviour child (in the classic Whoniverse)
This stepchild could very very well be the timeless child. (in the classic whoniverse)
While our now former Doctor (future? Cause it could be Jenny) virgin birthed child will become the saviour child in the new WHoniverse.
The Crown of thorns is the reason for why this above is logical. As River Song died to it. and She was uploaded into becoming the pilot mind of a brand new type of timemachine "RIVERS" in lack of proper name. And the Pandorica is basicly a timemachine without a proper pilot mind. (but that can transverse the void... without timetraveling)
I mean, the Doctor COULD be Jesus. They only killed Jesus once and sealed his body in a cave. He could have taken it more than once, we don't know.
This show died when it went woke.
You’ve done it again, do you read these comments, you keep pronouncing Omega incorrectly, can you not get it right, it is really really really really annoying.
Basic research. They clearly only read about The Three Doctors and Arc of Infinity. Perhaps they should WATCH them?
