You start swinging at everything. Or even just give up. Again Skenes is amazing. But the zone he got last night was egregious.

Does ANYONE but me remember '"2-out lightning" during the '70's championship runs? In fact, I remember boiling it down to "2-strike lightning" back then...or am I dreaming? Something I'd also like to say, even though I don't want to, is I haven't been happy with our 3rd base coach the entire season, and that was amplified by the fact that Cruz had to 'stop himself' after rounding 3rd. Now had Cruz not done that, he'd have been out, so what was the 3rd base coach doing...or thinking?
I tell you what a competitor Paul Skenes is guy didn’t have his best stuff yet he still had command of the game I say this he’s not impressive to me because I came to expect this I felt last year he could pitch at the big league level with his mound presence and stuff I felt last year it was unfair to college hitters to have this guy pitching at that level he’s a cut above the rest and they would say I just hope to see him on the field always he has all the tools to be an all time great

Pitching the ace for the Reds tomorrow against Falter who is terrible and Wednesday Hunter Green who no hit these Pirates but lost somehow against a terrible Mitch Keller
