Today, (9/27/22) I saw your wedding video. I do not know you two, but wish you all the happiness. I appreciate all the symbolic actions of the wedding and the traditions you hold dear through the generations. I think of you both now, married for a few years now, perhaps with a child now. I pray many blessings on your family and wish for you happiness and comfort in God's protective cover.

Why are they not dancing with the men and what's with the giant fur hat the groom has on?

For modesty purposes, it is understood that men do not dance with women (unless they are immediate relatives), and that men do not watch women dance. There is a partition in the middle of the room and men and women dance separately.
The fur hats are called “shtreimels.” They are traditional Hassidic hats that originated in eastern Europe. Hassidic garb generally reflects this older fashion passed down and maintained through the years.
