The website awarded people who voted No to the FFVIIR so to me it's a win for the No: the release date wasn't announced, it was reminded during the Square presentation. Also I totally bet 420 donbucks against the release date.
Announce - make a public and typically formal declaration about a fact, occurrence, or intention. It doesn't have to be the first time though. Just that it was.
Damiani specifically asked which answer would win the bet if it was announced at the concert and Kyle definitively answered "No." He wasn't betting that it would be announced at the concert and then never mentioned during the conference. This "technically it was also announced at the conference..." argument is making a loophole where there isn't one.
Definition of "announce" make a public and typically formal declaration about a fact, occurrence, or intention. It does not indicate that it must be the first time this fact is made public. Only that it was... It was still "announced" at the E3 press conference.
That FF7 bet was highway robbery. Sticking to what you defined in the betting special was really the only way to go imo. Still a great video, congrats Huber.
Any streamed conference that 6 or more Allies are live reacting to during the course of E3 should count for bets. Concert's do not count. I vehemently disagree with the betting rulings being made here.
@@derbeste8937 it did, those of us who voted no for the FFVII release were initially correct and that was retconned ignoring their own explicitly stated rules.
The person they're talking about at 11:00 is ME! I was also in Huber Syndrome! I talked with Huber about how I kept on cheering and had the people around me cheering to SECURE THAT BET.
I feel like the person who got the most number of bets ACTUALLY correct should have at least gotten some kind of second prize....? Maybe just some small input on the Play Monologue or something! Pick one Ally who has to cosplay their character lol?
This betting special was really fun! The polls are a great idea - I hope it stays. I didn’t take it too seriously, so being a little loose on the rules didn’t bother me at all.
Wow, I ended up being number 5! I love these E3 betting specials and had a blast being able to participate this year! Thanks Easy Allies for always giving us cool content!
They're correct with the FFVII bet...it was announced at the concert but it was also announced at the press conference. An announcement can happen multiple times. The bet wasn't when it was going to be announced first.
Dear EasyAllies, I have been following you for a number of years now and for a long time would have considered myself your biggest fan. GameTrailers was my first exposure to the beautiful world of video games and since then I have seen you all grow and I have grown with you. With that in mind, you can only imagine the utter gut-wrenching feeling of betrayal I endured when you decided to FUCK ME OVER ON THE FINAL FANTASY RELEASE DATE BET. DAMIANI EVEN ASKED IN THE DAMN EPISODE AND YOU WENT BACK ON YOUR WORD. THE INTEGRITY OF THE BETTING SPECIAL HAS COMPLETELY GONE. I DON'T SEE HOW I CAN EVER TRUST ANY OF YOU EVER AGAIN. You were my big boy, and you slipped up real bad. Never contact me again. Sincerely, CoolHenry
Think of it this way. Since Kingdom Hearts has never been seen from the inside, it can be whatever you imagine it to be. Kingdom Hearts could be the inside of a FatBurger for all we know.
I have to go with Huber on this. If the bet is "No" for a FF7 release date announcement, you're not betting that it will be announced beforehand during a concert, or on twitter, you're betting that it will not be announced during the show. That's the intent of that bet. And it was announced. I would call it a simultaneous announcement if it happens within a 24-hour window.
I beat all the Allies but Huber, $705.32. Lot of smaller bets that paid off with $100-175 back, especially on Todd not apologizing. Cannot wait for Kingdom Hearts: Choose or Lose.
My friend and I decided to play along during the betting video and I put ALL my bucks on Doug Bowser making a Bowser joke. Nintendo Direct rolled around and I was swimming in victory!
I'm on a mission. I call a moratorium on "Literally". If one means "Actually" say, "Actually". If one wants to add emphasis say, "Really", "Truly", "Super", "Absolutely", or the like. If one means "Figuratively" --- well, that one shouldn't have to be said --- but since absolutely it does, say, "Figuratively". We can put the word "Literally" back into our syntax once we've earned it, truly. Thank you.
Was the word Nintendo said during the Xbox conference... Yes, not in the conference itself, but Huber said it while reacting "during" the conference. Just being literal. Love you guys, keep up the awesome work!
Announce has a couple of meanings, but none of them are “to be the first to claim”. You can announce the same thing over and over and it’s still an announcement, which happened at SE’s press conference. If the bet would’ve been “will the release date premier at the conference” that’d be different... just my two cents, Love & Respect!

Or I at least won't just post on their RUclips channel, and post on their Patreon page instead. as to not make it look like the community is a dreadful, whiny bunch of srs Gamers with no tolerance for fun.
Sorry this was long and not entirely directed at you of course, but it's just been something that's irked me for months now and I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed and had to say something I suppose.
Ian: "people don't talk for 5 minutes straight unless they're Brandon Jones"
that was great
34:30 Confirmed, like Brad had with Ultima, it seems Rainy Day Ian has split from Ian.
I can’t even begin to explain how fucking funny these ridiculous close ups are. Murdering me.
I want to see Huber turn heel as all those Don bucks corrupt him.
Huber... I love you! That is the sickest penalty that I could’ve asked for!
Stick to the end folks!
Best ending!
Pedro Saliba I’m assuming that’s don in the end right?
@@WhomGodGiveth No spoilers but it's priceless
Definition of "announce" make a public and typically formal declaration about a fact, occurrence, or intention. It does not indicate that it must be the first time this fact is made public. Only that it was... It was still "announced" at the E3 press conference.
LOL by the time Kyle went to go on the next question...I'm like "Is this a bit?"
ShockOrScoff was SOOO much fun...please keep doing this!
And the concert didn't count. So what's the problem?
@@derbeste8937 it did, those of us who voted no for the FFVII release were initially correct and that was retconned ignoring their own explicitly stated rules.
THIS IS WHAT I WAS WAITING FOR. I LOOKED FOR IT EARLIER TODAY. I DIDNT SEE IT. ITS HERE NOW. YALL READ MY MIND. NO CAP.
The person they're talking about at 11:00 is ME! I was also in Huber Syndrome! I talked with Huber about how I kept on cheering and had the people around me cheering to SECURE THAT BET.
He owes us MONEY!
the extreme close up shots really add to the drama. We can't overlook anything when Don Bucks are on the table.
I was born in 1992 and I love kingdom hearts
I feel like the person who got the most number of bets ACTUALLY correct should have at least gotten some kind of second prize....?
Maybe just some small input on the Play Monologue or something! Pick one Ally who has to cosplay their character lol?
Forget Damiani getting screwed, I got screwed! I had $420 riding on FF VII release date not getting announced!
Same. Richard Hoeg will be fighting for our case. He's been active on twitter about it (@HoegLaw).
All those non-believers in the comment section salty af while I'm swimming in FF7R Don Bucks.
The Betting Show was my E3 Highlight! Thank you !
Betting Specials should be for more events. Now we know that the Don Buck formula is great.
You guys need to keep this going
But Don's nowhere to be found. Hube Bucks (HBs) for the future, perhaps?
The birth of Bosmans bonus bits, I'm so in!!
Loving these intense close up shots
One of my favorites videos every e3! Great job to all and congrats huber! Bless the big boy bet!
The set-ups for the extreme close-ups was a stroke of genius
The concert, devolver and kind of funny should have all been included.
DRAMATIC ZOOM IN
Dr. Strange held up one finger to Huber and he bet it all on it ☝️
The zoom ins are incredible
And Huber's stakes are amazing omg 😂
This betting special was really fun! The polls are a great idea - I hope it stays.
I didn’t take it too seriously, so being a little loose on the rules didn’t bother me at all.
Wow, I ended up being number 5!
I love these E3 betting specials and had a blast being able to participate this year! Thanks Easy Allies for always giving us cool content!
Hahhahah the super close ups, I can feel the poker sweat dripping
the close up shots are genius
I'm very much looking forward to this play. I am forever grateful that Huber won!
I was hoping Huber would go with "Spencer Mansion" as the location...
They're correct with the FFVII bet...it was announced at the concert but it was also announced at the press conference. An announcement can happen multiple times. The bet wasn't when it was going to be announced first.
14:49-14:56 , the raptor mascot bit, and "Goofy's not there yet". Bosman on top of his comedy game. Also, great editing.
That Rainy day Ian cameo was super creepy. 10/10
Haha would love to see a couple of short skits just to see the outtakes afterwards xD you guys are so jolly
Dear EasyAllies,
I have been following you for a number of years now and for a long time would have considered myself your biggest fan.
Sincerely,
CoolHenry
That slosh bucket owes us money!
Love the way this episode was edited! Nice close ups! xD
I think that the right community member won. Check his final bet he just wanted a new Fumito Ueda Game. I'm with you buddy
I put my Final Bet as 'Squall Leonheart will reveal himself'. So even though I walked away with ~D420 bucks, at least my wish came true.
Think of it this way. Since Kingdom Hearts has never been seen from the inside, it can be whatever you imagine it to be. Kingdom
Hearts could be the inside of a FatBurger for all we know.
Or a Netflix studio stage
This was an incredible trainwreck
I have to go with Huber on this. If the bet is "No" for a FF7 release date announcement, you're not betting that it will be announced beforehand during a concert, or on twitter, you're betting that it will not be announced during the show. That's the intent of that bet. And it was announced. I would call it a simultaneous announcement if it happens within a 24-hour window.
Steeped in controversy.
I beat all the Allies but Huber, $705.32. Lot of smaller bets that paid off with $100-175 back, especially on Todd not apologizing. Cannot wait for Kingdom Hearts: Choose or Lose.
Worth it for the outtakes. Love that stuff! Hopefully this subplot leads to something!
Extreme controversy close ups are my new jam.
"Kingdom Hearts is not a place, it's a people"
-Goofy (Probably)
Dreams without integrity are just delusions
Please include more outtakes like this it had my dying haha!
The devolver and pc show and KOF and concert should have 100% counted.
If EZA covered the conference, it should count
My friend and I decided to play along during the betting video and I put ALL my bucks on Doug Bowser making a Bowser joke. Nintendo Direct rolled around and I was swimming in victory!
The moon in KH3 is the real Kingdom Hearts, just so you know.
