Why are these HKers being taken in? There are more than 300,000 Canadian citizens and PRs stranded in Hong Kong alone. Now these people are coming to Canada just to get PR, and once they get it, they leave and go back to Hong Kong. They make no contribution to Canada.
ON9, too naive, more than 10 thousands of refugees from India, Bangladesh and the rest of Asian countries are already taken in only the 1st half of this year, and they are continuously coming. they thank you for your contribution to Canada to support their free hotel and pocket money. I am quite sure most of HKers this time will prefer to stay and start their new life rather than go back. even if some of them decide to go back after 1-2yrs, but they spend money, hosuing, food , car..etc. Who makes no contribution to Canada? Dont keep stay in a hole to see the sky, or pull away the plank after your Papa, Grandpa got the PR that make you have one. 🤣
