As someone from western PA, I’ve been there many times. It’s always so moving. I wish that every American could see it.

Russ, Shortly after the Plane went down My wife and I went to see the Ol site. A smaller trailer in a parking lot with numerous chain link panels with mementos. all over them and several memorial books to sign. The day we were there people had a lot of babies with them
I mentioned to my wife "Listen Total Silence" and yes total silence, not even a child was crying. But we shed silent tears of respect. it was truly an amazing feeling in fact spooky.
I thought I would mention this. On the way home my wife and I prayed realizing after what we had seen that we were so easy to attack. God Save America we struggle every day not knowing when or if this will happen again.

Was there at the Flight 93 Memorial almost 11 years ago. Back then, most of the roads and buildings either didn't exist or were under construction. Thanks for the ability to see how much better the Memorial has become.

Oh wow. In all the videos I've seen on RUclips I've not seen one on this memorial. It's such a beautiful place now... so VERY green with birds chirping and hushed voices. Then the large, heavy stone monuments with the names and the chime tower... What a gut punch that must be to stand there and feel all that. REALLY well done memorial. I mean there's just so much detail that they thought of. Thank you for sharing it with us.

One of the best decisions of my life was when I alone, drove out here on the 20 year remembrance in 2021. The line to get in was 5 miles long and no one showed impatience or on once of rudeness. You truly felt as if you were among family members mourning loved ones. The day was somber and that horrible days memory hit me again as i was walking to the crash site. 😓

But thats what people who plant trees who shall never sit in their shade DO, Russ. It's an extremely old concept about being a steward of the land. It's kinda something REAL people do, because it's not for them..it's for everyone AFTER them.
