Russ, Shortly after the Plane went down My wife and I went to see the Ol site. A smaller trailer in a parking lot with numerous chain link panels with mementos. all over them and several memorial books to sign. The day we were there people had a lot of babies with them I mentioned to my wife "Listen Total Silence" and yes total silence, not even a child was crying. But we shed silent tears of respect. it was truly an amazing feeling in fact spooky. I thought I would mention this. On the way home my wife and I prayed realizing after what we had seen that we were so easy to attack. God Save America we struggle every day not knowing when or if this will happen again.
Was there at the Flight 93 Memorial almost 11 years ago. Back then, most of the roads and buildings either didn't exist or were under construction. Thanks for the ability to see how much better the Memorial has become.
Been on Lincoln Highway many times…Flight 93 is definitely a must see….when I visited it the last time…I was overwhelmed….hard to believe it has already been 20 yrs this September.
I can still feel the powerful sadness of this sacred area. Very beautiful memorial and a tribute to those individuals who will never be forgotten. Thank you Russ, for showing us this site. It was truly moving.
Oh wow. In all the videos I've seen on RUclips I've not seen one on this memorial. It's such a beautiful place now... so VERY green with birds chirping and hushed voices. Then the large, heavy stone monuments with the names and the chime tower... What a gut punch that must be to stand there and feel all that. REALLY well done memorial. I mean there's just so much detail that they thought of. Thank you for sharing it with us.
💜 Truck Driver From Idaho Falls, Idaho... I Stayed at the Quality Inn .. I Took a Cab there. It was a foggy morning. No people as I walked the whole way past the crash site to the museum. Awesome . Very Moving. Thanks 🙏 for Letting me enjoy the experience again. ❤️
I Never knew that there was a memorial for the plane.what a beautiful place and so well done ,that is a day that i will never forget may we all remember 911 a sad time in our history. The wind chimes are the voices of the souls that lost there lives may they rest in the arms of the heavenly father and find peace. 🇺🇲
Very well done Russ, thank you for taking the time to show the memorial, did not know it was that good of a memorial, very respectful, thanks again, travel safe
havent been there in awhile it has really changed i remember the old guy having old pepsi machines on the property leading to crash site and the huge chain link fence with all the tributes .First time there was soon as site was cleared and you could sense the sadness, RIP to all that perished
I don't know how or why I came upon your videos but am so glad I did. Thank you so much for taking us along on your trips that I wouldn't otherwise see. 🤗
What a sobering reminder of how precious our democracy is. Thank you for stopping at the memorial. Living out west you forget how pretty & green everything is when you go east.
This was a very emotional day. Very hard to re-live. Very hard to believe 20 years have passed when it just seems like yesterday. A strong man came all the way from Quartszite, Arizona to video & share with the world this beautiful memorial. God bless everyone. Thank you Russ!
You have an awesome camera and audio. When you mentioned how quiet it was at the stop in Pennsylvania. You can hear your footsteps. It picks up great. 😊👍👍
Oh wow , you were just drive right by my house. I live on rt30 about an hour west of the flight 93 memorial. I was at the memorial not long ago and it was really windy, the wind chimes sounded amazing. Love the videos, safe travels!
Russ - thank you so very much for highlighting this memorial. I don't think that I have seen this before and I appreciate you showing it to us. As an airline employee - I'll never forget that day or the subsequent days afterward. Thanks again.
So sorry for your loss. I pray you will one day be able to forgive so you may live your life a little bit in peace. It must be very hard to deal with and I am so sorry!!!
Todd Beamer: "Let's roll!" Thank God for the American patriots on that flight who chose to act so that others might live. For those interested, the movie "Flight 93" is a must see. Thank you, Russ, for stopping by this solemn place; it is now definitely on my list of places to visit before I die.
One of the best decisions of my life was when I alone, drove out here on the 20 year remembrance in 2021. The line to get in was 5 miles long and no one showed impatience or on once of rudeness. You truly felt as if you were among family members mourning loved ones. The day was somber and that horrible days memory hit me again as i was walking to the crash site. 😓
at the time of 9-11 the country was unified. after a few years politics took over. people on both sides are to blame for that. sadly many are still in power!!!
Being a retired flight attendant , and knowing I was flying the day before this all happened leaves me numb . I’ll never forget that day ~ ever ~ GOD BLESS ALL THE SOULS on the plane that day and the hero’s 🙏🙏 I hope to see this some day ~ retired NWA flight attendant / Delta ✈️✈️
Hello Russ, Nice memorial for flight-93, thanks for video, WOW, it’s been 20 years since that tragic crash, let’s not forget the heroes on that flight!🎗
#77 Thank You for stopping and showing, I will make it a place to see on my way to Gettysburg. I was at the USS Arizona Memorial BB-39, Pearl Harbor. Another very quiet place, and one not to forget! Thanks!
Great video, brings back such memories ....... thank you ....... I've never seen another video on this particular 9/11 monument . Thank you for the history and being sooooooo respectful .... God Bless !!!
15:46 - "very well done, very well thought out" But thats what people who plant trees who shall never sit in their shade DO, Russ. It's an extremely old concept about being a steward of the land. It's kinda something REAL people do, because it's not for them..it's for everyone AFTER them.
Did a great video .... however you missed one of the most important things there . THE PHONE MESSAGES THAT PEOPLE LEFT .....I BELIEVE ALL RECORDINGS ARE THERE . I SPENT 2 HOURS LISTENING TO WHAT PEOPLE WERE TELLING THERE LOVED ONES .... I am surprised you did not listen to one ....
Russ.....I hope you had a chance to put the camera down and experience the intense gravity of this memorial for yourself. Thanks for sharing it with us and hope that you enjoyed your time in Pa. In the meantime....Be Safe and Be Well.
Lots of people who visited the towers on vacation have put their videos online. Are there any home videos of the Pennsylvania field before 9/11-like perhaps a family picnic?
As someone from western PA, I’ve been there many times. It’s always so moving. I wish that every American could see it.

21:04 - there is a single chime for every person that died. The wind is supposed to carry their voices, all the time. Heartbreakingly beautiful!

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing, Russ. Be Safe.

at the time of 9-11 the country was unified. after a few years politics took over. people on both sides are to blame for that. sadly many are still in power!!!
Did you find out why the walls were so tall?????? Great memorial. Thanks for sharing.
If I remember correctly, it’s to make it hard for people to get into the crash site. Hope I’m right about that
I really love your videos! Thank you so much for sharing your journeys!
Being a retired flight attendant , and knowing I was flying the day before this all happened leaves me numb .

Would love to see you take a trip along Route 66
You were going through the Laurel Highlands. I live 100-110 miles NW of it. The restaurant and hotels in the middle nowhere is Breezewood.
Hey Russ, can u go to Lancaster PA in the Amish Community to take a tour 🙏🙏❤️❤️
How much time should we budget for the memorial?
It was an old strip mine. This is the reason for the lack of trees. I try to visit annually.
It's so sad that happened but a very nicely done and fitting monument in honor of the heroes. Thanks for sharing.
hey Russ, guess who grew up 20 min from the "A Trail", in the Kittatinny Mountains?
Russ.....I hope you had a chance to put the camera down and experience the intense gravity of this memorial for yourself. Thanks for sharing it with us and hope that you enjoyed your time in Pa. In the meantime....Be Safe and Be Well.
