Hi everyone! Thank you so much for watching and leaving nice comments! 🥺❤ I uploaded the video yesterday before going to sleep, and then I had a dream that it got 25 likes and 80+ dislikes because people hated that I talked too much 😂 But in reality I didn’t really expect to get any views and comments at all, so thank you everyone for being so kind!
They’re hilarious! On top of being talented, gorgeous, and charismatic ❤ Also, if anything, them not being fluent in English made it feel more relatable for me personally, so even that was great! And thank you so much for your comment!
So glad i saw this on my youtube recommended! I was there too, I sat in section 117. The trying not to scream at work was literally me 😂 I was struggling so much to get the tickets during school. This concert was worth every penny, it was my first concert and one of the best experiences i’ve ever had. When they walked out, I ACTUALLY CRIEDDD. I was trembling and crying so much, it felt so surreal!! I absolutely loved the girls and they looked beautiful!! Also the rain was so bad on the way home lmao
I clicked on this video on a whim since I was there last night as well, but I’m actually in your video! At 30:33 the girl in all white with the green top handing out banners, that’s me!! The “woo” is barking. I couldn’t tell you why we do it, but I definitely think its a newer addition, and probably a pretty Western thing. Lots of 3rd generation idols have been surprised on their world tours when the crowd started barking, but I love how the girls were into it!
No way! I remember seeing you briefly and making a mental note that your outfit is really cool! And thank you so much for the explanation! That was really fascinating!
So happy your first concert was Mamamoo. These ladies never disappoint and are worth every cent to see them in concert. I will be flying from Sydney, Australia this weekend to see them in Oakland and LA next Friday and Sunday. I noticed your car had many warning lights on and flashing, especially your check engine oil light. I hope you refilled the oil and at least got your car serviced shortly after to fix all the other potential issues which could become very costly if not fixed asap.
You are going to have such an amazing time!! I’m really excited for you! And my car is always like that 😂 it even says I have the parking brake activated even when I don’t. I took it to a repair master and he said my car is fine and he doesn’t know why it’s doing that either 😅 it is scary though, I hope I’ll be able to fix it
Ohh yes! This is probably the best first concert I could have gone to as well, that’s going to be a memory for life! I’m so glad you got to experience that as well!
Love your recap from 42:09 onwards! Mamamoo is so great that even if you don't know a single song or lyric of theirs you can just vibe along and it's still an excellent time.
Thank you for sharing your experience, I'm glad you decided to go despite the inconveniences. It really is an amazing concert. Mamamoo are the best on stage! ❤
43:14 If you know the fanchants, the atmosphere will be different! You feel part of the whole thing, and it truly is overwhelming! I went to a Mamamoo concert held in Seoul and many Kmoos did the fanchant, it’s also fun just to listen to the fanchant while enjoying the performance!
Omg I’m so excited! I don’t see many VIPs in the wild (I mean random online communities and discussions, let alone in person). But BigBang are literal kings, and MAMAMOO are the actual queens, so it’s the best of everything ❤
Enjoyed your vlog! I saw them in NY with my wife and then I went solo to see them in Baltimore (also 4 hours). So worth it! Sorry to hear about your parking lot saga... But I'm glad you took it all as a "personal growth" experience!
The wuff part was made up at the NY concert. Moonbyul loved it and repeated it also in the 2nd Stop in Baltimore 😅 But very good vlog for the whole process. I would love to see them at a whole concert but being in the EU is quite sad 😢 still saw the 2 times at Kpopflex last year for at least 4 songs 😊
i thoroughly enjoyed the entirety of this video..thank you for sharing your experience here! all your "rambling" was very enjoyable as well 😄 I felt like I just planned and finished going to their concert with a friend myself! ♡
So happy you were able to see them. The Woo sound is a cheer in general. It has nothing to do with kpop. It's more of an American thing. The cheer is another way of saying hoo-ray. It's signifies happiness. So the audience was really happy.
I initially thought it was a New York thing (which is it - since I believe it originated from there) but it's worked it's way around several states. As I've seen it's been happening at a bunch of kpop and Western concerts
Glad you had a good time, and Mamamoo is definitely one to go to for a live show. I'm going to the one in Glendale a little over a week from now. If I were to offer you any advice for future concerts, it is to give yourself plenty of time. You were worried about both making it on time as well as getting there too early, and I was worried for you while watching, especially after I realized you were driving back home right after the concert! Maybe better would have been if you could have found time and money in your budget to get a hotel room for the night. That way, you could have left earlier, parked at the hotel, and then found your way to the venue some other way (walk, if you're close enough; public transit if not - maybe still driving if you didn't want to figure out the public transport situation). And afterward, you wouldn't have to worry about driving for 4 hours that late at night, just a little while to get back to the hotel room and get some rest before your big drive back. Also, I can practically guarantee that a lot of those people in line had been there all day, so other than the parking lot not being open, you couldn't have gotten there too early. It is quite an experience sitting there all day getting to know the other fans, and if you can afford it, it might be worthwhile to even get that hotel for the night before the concert, too, so you have time to get food and hang out with other fans well before the concert. I realize this could potentially be really expensive, but if you make a plan for it early on, it is a lot easier to manage the expenses. As to the VIP event after the concert, it should have been a hi-touch (or a hi-wave, due to covid concerns) and photo session. A "hi-touch" is where everyone gets in line and goes up and gives a high-five to each of the members. A "hi-wave" is similar, except you can't touch them so you just wave at them or make finger-hearts or something. You only have a few seconds, so you can't say/do much, but being able to say "I love you so much!" to them is always nice. For the photo session, they would probably put you into groups of around 5-10 people at a time to go up and get a group photo with them. Imagine getting a photo with your bias standing right behind you! Anyway, I'm glad you had a good time, and I hope that your next concert (whether kpop or not) is even better!
Thank you for the advice! I think staying at a hotel would have significantly reduced my stress levels, so I will definitely plan for that next time. And it’s so exciting that you’re going to see them soon as well!
I'm so happy for you and glad you had a good time! Yesss, tickets were so easy to buy and overwhelmingly affordable which made the whole process easy. And on that note, I got mine for June 4th in LA! So hoping my experience will be as amazing as yours! Going to see my Moo's for the first time as well 💚
It's always nice to see a fellow moo get to see them live, i hope all moos will get that chance. Also, glad that you overcame your anxiety and manage to film and share this vlog. Lastly, you shouldn't hold back your pee for a long time!
Thanks for sharing this vlog of your experiencee! So cool that you got to see the goddesses live! The drive time is scary but also worth putting into perspective - as you said, still less of a hurdle than trying to see them in Korea. Also, in Texas, all the major cities are 3-5 hours away from the other ones, so in some areas it's the norm to drive that kind of dstance to get out of town and go somewhere else. I'm seeing them tomorrow in Fort Worth, Texas!
So I’m seeing Moos give a explanation to the “ woo “ sounds. They’re actually not correct because it goes wayyyyyy back. It’s actually a barking sound that fans of Twice started for their LA concert in 2022. It’s because they keep asking the Members if they can be their Dog on their livestreams and it became a running joke 😂😂
