Dear Chris, I didn't recognise the title of this song until you started singing, and then I realised I HAVE heard it but still it is pretty unfamiliar to me. So in that respect it is a bit of a discovery! Well my friend, you sang it REALLY well, with good emotion and I enjoyed listening to your wonderful rendition, so a big thank you for sharing. It sounds a soulful song with lyrics to match, and I can imaging that Vera Lynn entertained the troops well during those troubled wartime days. Very well done Chris, this was lovely, so gentle and heartfelt.
