- Canadian high school dance teacher Shirley Clements, performs with her students at Hip-Hop competition! This amazing woman has inspired countless dancers throughout the years and continues to inspire everyday!

When you’re right there with the young people, teaching them and joining them rather than complaining about them and their generation, this is the result you get. Love it!
Holy crap at 60 years old and when she hit that head spin. It was all over and she is amazing.
It 's all down to daily practice friend. I can still do a full split, put my foot behind my head and do 10K steps on the treadmill every day at the ripe (or not so ripe) age of 75!
I'm 70 next March. I can still do everything she is doing. Keep using it or lose it. Agecreally is just a number

Unless u have had a life exercises and training habits the average 60 yrs old women body has aged in his own right.
Of course there will always be people who can do this or still do that at 70 , 80++ ✌🏽
I enjoy videos like this so much. I'm 67, and crippled up with rheumatoid arthritis. It stopped me from dancing anymore when I was about 50 yrs old. I can still swing my arms and hips. Which I did a whole lot of when I watched this video. It made me remember how much fun I had before I got sick. I give thanks to the Almighty that I can still sing. Thank you so much for uploading this video.

I know its not being disrespectful by the person who made this title but you can tell its about age and the title may as well say " omg a 60 year old can dance like this!?! " like its a shocker...of some sort... anyway she is amazing in this
One thing I LOVE about the Hip Hop (AKA Street Dance) community I've seen where I live is that it is so all-inclusive in every way: gender, race, age, style. Really impresses and moves me.

I know a guy who was in a horrible accident when he was 23 that left him quadriplegic. Now, he is 48. Imagine how he must feel seeing all of these older people out there who can do stuff he hasn't been able to do in 25 years. To have that taken from you at 23 years old is beyond awful. Imagine how he must have felt at 23 seeing people in their 60s and 70s and beyond in great shape and able to do things. Yet, he is the nicest guy ever.
Then she wnet home and took a bottle of Tylenol PM and died! :)

Every now and then someone this amazing comes along and makes a positive imprint on your life. Those kids may not realize it yet, but she is one of the greatest gifts of their youth.

To you nay-sayers out there who think “big deal, 60 isn’t old”: I don’t see any of YOU out there! She did amazing and I would love to be able to do half of what she did - and I’m only 2 years older than she is. Hats off to her - she is amazing!!
Quit with the mindset of “I can’t do this or that”. Unless you’re in a wheelchair or have a serious, debilitating disease....get off your ass and move! Don’t care if all you do is walk around your neighborhood. Use it ie loose it.

You don't understand, it's not that 60 is't old, the fact that she is 60 and can dance like that means she can dance and always could. There are people that are 30 that can't move like that. The title suggests that 60 is old and her Betty Boop hair style doesn't exactly make her look youthful. I was a dancer and if I hadn't let myself gain weight and didn't have knee replacements (before 60, I'm only 57) I could do all those moves as well. Maybe not the head spin but I couldn't do that at 20 either

I was thinking 60 isn't that old! We just have to keep moving our bodies to keep healthy that's all.
Yes! Keep moving. Our bodies are meant to be in motion. But we're always sitting, on our phones, watching TV. The pandemic or blizzard-like weather hasn't helped.
Keeping moving is important, but proper healthy diet is even more important and not being overweight.
I'm 57 and I was thinking the same thing! 60 is NOT OLD! I could totally do that because I've been active all of my life (I wouldn't try spinning on my head, though😅). Everyone can improve their strength and mobility at any age. No gym? No problem! Bodyweight strength training works too!

My friend's mom went dancing every night well into her 80s. Had a 41 yr old boyfriend. Her husband had run off to be a monk so what the heck? Dance.
Why do I feel like crying... I just loved the end where all of the students or audience went wild cheering. They were so happy she did so well. It felt so loving to me for some reason. Liked they really loved her and wanted the best for her. Idk why I interpreted it like that. I'm literally getting emotional. Lol!

It’s 2020 and I’m just seeing it and let me tell you I am some impressed by her. I’m also a 57 year old woman who belly dances and does hip hop and twerking. Don’t give up those goals girls. They keep your mind and body young and give you a better quality of life in your later years. Nothing wrong with getting older if you approach it with an attitude.

That's very true. Age us definitely just a number, as long as you stay in good shape and health. Sadly, some people lose their health way younger than 60.
Well, not 100 percent true, I'm 62 and you have to be a professional dancer to dance like that, whether you like it or not a 60 yr old body is usually in pain after a dance like that. So young folks, keep dancing and moving alot so you can do what this lady did and not hurt for the next few days.
