Hey Everyone,
In this video, I have given a detailed explanation about the Pancha Jaatis which is the very basic lesson to start learning talam.
They are Chatushra, Tishra, Mishra, Khanda and Sankeerna.
I am planning to upload many more videos in the future which will be helpful for the dancers.

Hello nice that you are doing some thing about taala and it's related things. But learn proper way to maintain LAYA. and keep mind about what you mentioned at beginning and what you are presenting..correct it.. hope in future you will upload correct things. Good luck

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Regarding laya, in all my recent videos I have used metronome to maintain it. And I did not understand about what I said in beginning and what I am presenting. It would be great if you can precisely tell me where you felt I was wrong so that it would be useful for me to understand my mistakes too.

Yes, the 1st,2nd and 3rd speed framework is universal and common for everything. For singing, swarams (S, R, G, M, P) will come instead of Jaati shollus(Ta, ki, ta....etc).

For that we use Metronome. On all my other videos I have demonstrated with Metronome. With constant practice, automatically you will be able to hold the gaps.

Tishra jaati also has the same concept like other jaatis. In 2nd speed, after each aksharam one gap is there. Keep practicing with my video or with a metronome and you will be able to get the hang of it.

You mentioned that you are going to start with basics of Taala...for this first you must explain Taala and jaati and it's definition ....jaatis and the types of Taalas . ...... then how it is related with Shollukaatus in 3 speeds
in laghus in 5 jaatis

but you mentioned pancha jaati Shollukaatus are the very first basic lesson. ..,,No there are more before this.. like 1) tha Ka, 2) Tha Ka Di mi which are easy flow jathis.
How the 3 speeds will come with selected taala etc..
