【EngSub】The wildest yard in Shanghai 上海最狂野的院子

Artist Zhang Huan built a courtyard in his residence and named it 69 Nihuan Courtyard. This yard is "unprecedented and cannot be replicated afterward". Zhang Huan hunted for 2,000 tons of stones from all over the country regardless of cost, and worked rain or shine for months. Working over ten hours a day, he wanted to present a paradise in his childhood dream.
藝術家張洹在自己的住處造了個院子，取名為69泥洹院。這個院子「前所未有，之後也無法復製」。張洹為此不惜成本、不計代價，從全國各地找來了兩千噸石頭，在幾個月的時間裏風雨無阻，每天工作十幾個小時，想要呈現一個童年夢中的樂園。

Its ironic. He uprooted them, cut them up, transported them far away from where they were. What happens to them after his death, when new owners take over. To think the rock was listening to the Buddhist chants all these decades beside the temple. Isnt that more poetic than his "artistic" endevours? How that rock must have bled.
