- The parents of Donald Trump’s would-be-assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, called police hours before he opened fire at a campaign rally on the weekend.
It’s not clear what police did with that information, but it’s raised concerns over a possible security failure.
New images reveal what police found on the alleged shooter after a Secret Service sniper shot and killed him - which was a remote detonator and phone.
Sources say local law enforcement was never stationed in the building Mr Crooks climbed but in an adjacent building.
It's incredibly embarrassing and infuriating that I, as an American, have to get the actual news about my own country, from Australia.

To be honest it is against company policy for Pepsi Merchandisers to work on roofs with that height and pitch. The Jill Biden hand picked Secret Service Director came from Pepsi and just not up to speed on difference in required job performance between the different entities. This doesn't jive with the parents' earlier statements. Also, why would anyone report a 20 year old missing in the middle of the afternoon, when he hadn't been gone even 24 hours? That makes ZERO sense unless they knew what their son was doing, and wanted to distance themselves from the matter. It certainly sounds that way.

We were told by the woman in charge of the Secret Service that there was nobody stationed on that roof because of the pitch and the safety concerns. Then we see eight men standing on the same roof having a conversation without any safety harnesses. That's odd.
so bottom line. Secret Service stinks. the ones who really deserve any credit for the good that day are the local officers, people who tried to warn, and the poor parents who called before. Id want to hear that 911 call. they are public records, unless of course the SS already destroyed them

Police also removed any responsibility because the agent that fell (when he felt his life threatened got a boo-boo (sprained ankle) while the shooter climbed up the ladder that he himself took to the rally, the police having no creativity (common sense or equipment at all, decided not to climb the ladder already in place, or use the Air Conditioner next to the building to climb to the top of the building...and finally, the coup de grace is that Police were stationed in the building next door (busily eating doughnuts probably) instead of protecting the rally, the buildings and the citizens attending the rally. Were any of them getting paid overtime?? for working "so hard"???
